inexperienced fish playing. noticed he used his fingers to apply pressure on the spool. This contradicts the reel's drag function. By applyin pressure on the spool means that the line is not able to come off the spool. He should let the drag operate together with the rod's action to play the fish. Lucky guy that the line did not fail him. Bad fishing ethics.
