@dinosoid2000 The spider ball guardian is a hell of a lot easier on the Wii thanks to the instant jump you do during morph ball mode by flicking the controller up instead of having to wait for a bomb to detonate to jump. I didn't get hit once by the spider ball guardian on the Wii version thanks to the motion controls. Lol.
achievement systems ruined the core of gaming back in my day gaming was about overcoming that next obstacle triumphing that harder than hell boss you know what you got in the end a feeling of accomplishment in your heart thats all i cared about in the end and it made my bond with gaming so much better now a days its just war game after war game and equally dumb achievements for each one... i miss the good old days... like this game brought to me,,, and many before it..
I don't understand how this game is so underrated compared to MP1 & MP3. Sure there were less areas, but I still felt that the whole lonely atmosphere, especially in the dark world was really cool. Really in my opinion, 3 wasn't that great. The whole voice acting and actually having people around kind of messed up the ambiance for me. Umos was fine because you seldom visited him, and he didn't actually have a voice.

i love how this song describes the slow moving sluggish nature of chykka larva, and right after you kill it, the fast moving, lightning speed chykka adult zooms out of the watter and flaps its four wings at incredibly rapid speed, the music generally the same, except much faster to describe adult chykkas speed.
You must all remember the red substance in metroid prime 1 which was unknown. Well there wasn't any of it on phaaze. Meaning it most likely did not come from phaaze. When phaaze was destroyed all of the "phazon" was destroyed with it.
@LOS355 If I recall correctly, the Red substance was Phazon, the scan said so, it's just 86% more mutagenic than blue Phazon. It may also be where Red Phazite Armor comes from in MP3.
@Ainsley965 As you've probably seen in Prime 1, after you kill the Metroid Prime and escape the explosion, Notice the Hand that rises in the cut scence. It's Dark Samus' Hand, as your Phazon suit made Dark Samus. That's what makes Prime 2. Than After escaping the ing she gets called back to the planets of Bryyo, Elysia and Norion. After beating DarkSamus and the Aroura unit 313 on planet Phazze. Curruption within the solar system is gone, wending Prime series. This should clear up that query.
@Ainsley965 no. metroid prime is a phazon based entity that was created when a metroid was exposed to extremely high doses of phazon. now that the prime trilogy has ended( not counting the ship), there is no phazon at all because all phazon became inactive.

Some people say that the Light/Dark Ammo system was a mistake, but I personally liked the idea. It gave the swarm units some more value, added a bit of strategy for conservation.
@MeDsCP during the first days of having this game i took me weeks to figure out that you could partial charge the light, dark and anialator beams for one shot, after realizing this i would always run out of ammo and only use the partial shot
when you shoot the larva off the wall it's attached to before the battle, if you stand in the water while you shoot the last limb, after the cutscene you'll still be able to use your water thrusters even when you're on land, the game will still think you're in water. but it only works in till you touch water again, which is hard to avoid when the larva hatches and gets it's wings lol.
Scans indicate that this bioform is an infant, but aging rapidly. The creature can ensnare targets with its tongue, drawing them into its mouth. It then covers its prey with acidic globs of biomatter to break it down for digestion. This is an exceptional bioform with both a dark and light nature.
This song really gives off the vibe that something is coming to life. The major key elements in this song really give it color and make it stand out from a generic boss theme...
@Ainsley965 When I fought Chykka Larva the first time, I knew that that couldn't be it, it's the second Dark Energy Controller guardian and Amorbis was about as hard as Chykka Larva. I knew something would happen.
I remember the fight well, took me forever to realize I was supposed to get behind it and shoot it. I thought the damn thing was immortal. Regardless the chykka did age rapidly, their was no second cocoon. One was on high level yes, but you shoot it it falls into the water and the chyka comes out. It then sinks. The adult emerges from the body of the larva after it sinks from blaster wounds. It was the same boss. The cocoon you think you saw is the first one, you never see both at the same time
@metroidfannumber1 I don't know, that spaceship at the end of Prime 3 really tells of a sequel, but I don't know about Dark Samus, I think her time has come and gone. Unless they really up her lethality or change her up a bit, I don't think she'll be back.
@MeDsCP i think that ship belongs to sylux, just look at it, it resemebles his ship from prime hunters, and it has green techno colors as a trim, along with the movement which is the same as the bottom platforms thrust forwards just like how you fight him in hunters.

@Zaccarato first, it never said that. it said that it was an adult. and yes, you only shoot down one. the adult came out of its cocoon on its own, don't you remember? the first cocoon was on a high level, but the adult one was beneath the water until the water level dropped and you saw it. play it again or watch an LP or something, you'll see it.

Yes indeed. i love how RPG bosses tend to be very long.. but it cant be matched by a Metroid boss fight. Which is also long but requires fast thinking and patience. I heard the final boss fight in mp3 on hyper mode can last to about almost an hour.
If you Liston to the Music For Gandrayda's battle Its Part of this theme Mostly the Beginning part. Thats All i Can here But im pretty sure its a remix of this.
Bungie's developers wish they were as ingenious are Retro's developers (and no, Bungie, don't even try to convince them to join you; I'm sure they don't want to downgrade.).
What keeps me liking Metroid Prime is all of the effort and frustration put into completing the game. I mean this game keeps you looking for answers and guessing all of the time what they are. This is what a modern game should be! Metroid has set the standard for modern gaming!

@Ainsley965 When I fought Chykka Larva the first time, I knew that that couldn't be it, it's the second Dark Energy Controller guardian and Amorbis was about as hard as Chykka Larva. I knew something would happen.

I remember the fight well, took me forever to realize I was supposed to get behind it and shoot it. I thought the damn thing was immortal. Regardless the chykka did age rapidly, their was no second cocoon. One was on high level yes, but you shoot it it falls into the water and the chyka comes out. It then sinks. The adult emerges from the body of the larva after it sinks from blaster wounds. It was the same boss. The cocoon you think you saw is the first one, you never see both at the same time

@metroidfannumber1 I don't know, that spaceship at the end of Prime 3 really tells of a sequel, but I don't know about Dark Samus, I think her time has come and gone. Unless they really up her lethality or change her up a bit, I don't think she'll be back.

@MeDsCP i think that ship belongs to sylux, just look at it, it resemebles his ship from prime hunters, and it has green techno colors as a trim, along with the movement which is the same as the bottom platforms thrust forwards just like how you fight him in hunters.

@ninjatomaster Yes, I played them all. I've played most of the Metroid series, except for the portable games. When I say, we'll see what happens, I mean if Dark Samus can survive dimensional collapse, I don't know is a planetary explosion is enough to kill her either.

WHY DON'T PEOPLE GET IT? READ THIS!:the larva did NOT turn into the adult! there were 2 different cocoons. apparently thousands of people didn't notice the new cocoon the adult hatched from. they're 2 DIFFERENT BOSSES!!!!!

@Zaccarato first, it never said that. it said that it was an adult. and yes, you only shoot down one. the adult came out of its cocoon on its own, don't you remember? the first cocoon was on a high level, but the adult one was beneath the water until the water level dropped and you saw it. play it again or watch an LP or something, you'll see it.

Yes indeed. i love how RPG bosses tend to be very long.. but it cant be matched by a Metroid boss fight. Which is also long but requires fast thinking and patience. I heard the final boss fight in mp3 on hyper mode can last to about almost an hour.

What keeps me liking Metroid Prime is all of the effort and frustration put into completing the game. I mean this game keeps you looking for answers and guessing all of the time what they are. This is what a modern game should be! Metroid has set the standard for modern gaming!
