IMO, Thom and Lamar don't get that the cia controlled the mob, involving them as technicians & plausible fall guys if something went awry. This was a hit by the CIA w/the assistance of a # of secret service, w/the Joint Chiefs signing off on it, & Secret Service & Hoover & the FBI covering it up. By 11/63 JFK was secretly negotiating a detente w/Castro & end to the cold war, enraging the above principles who acted against JFK while maintaining their plausible deniability.

I have always felt that Watergate was the very least of Nixon's crimes. Talk about spiraling into an incredible morass, that became then a broader scope, if you will, in the three political murders of the 1960's. Where do we go from here?
