i have a question...i have a yamaha 01v and a rme digi...how can i do this...to move the faders in yamaha and in the same time to be moved automatically in cubase?
yes, i enjoy using 01x with Tracktion3, Cubase4 and LogicPro9. The most compatibility is with LogicPro and Cubase. Tracktion3 doesnt support plugin control via 01x, but no matter, you can do that in Tracktion3 DAW and also you can map 01x to T3. T3 Ultimate can be bought now $99 - go for it !
yes it works both with ableton live and fl studio. You only need to check the settings in your DAW software to use mlan from the 01x. midi (controller) and audio..

And a Macbook pro 2.2ghz /4goDDR2667Mhz/Macintel^^ with Gforce8600Gt he have 6 years ago and he will be immortel !!!! lol that's right , when i was passed on Mac from "Winshit"!! ^^ my song's was very expressive very clean not satured or in later in midi mode that's a very wonderfull elektronik instrument! a terrible sound card with a heart of numerik table mix' with compressor and effect!! she's given with Vst pack from Yamaha for the voice the mastering and other sound retouch! good Ben France

The only thing it's good for is maybe a control surface. The drivers are HORRIBLE. Trust me on this. I have been building and working on computers for over ten years. This guy makes it look very easy, but it's far from that. You know it may be fine for live stuff, but it sucks for recording.
I should add that the 01x is still available in the uk. That is where I will be having my next one shiped to me from, for back-up. plus you can twin two of them together for twice as many audio inputs!!!!
true. actually you can daisy-chain up to 7-O1Xs together or i88x and all the other great things people say about 01X is true. for those who just can't figure out how it works or had driver issues, i would say stay away from Vista and use XP and better yet GET A MAC and use LogicPro 7

The 01x front end mixer section has 4-band fully parametric EQ, with high pass and low pass filters, and a compressor on every channell!!!! YES!!! 28 Compressors built in!!!! and it's digital, you can save any setting you use!!!
The 01x, IS the greatest tool for home studio. It has been discontinued in the US, because people are too infatuated with pro-tools to realize that even thelatest promix 003 can't do half of what the 01x can, at twice the price, and the 01x works with EVERY daw software on the market!!! Makes me sick, and Yes I'm an 01x user, and I LOVE IT!!! Do your research and you will see what pro mix, tascam, m-audio controller users are missing out on.

The 01x is also fully supported in Logic 8 now. An intel mac is required

Yamaha bought cubase a few years ago.
All their interfaces are now already integrated in Cubase. So yes the 01x works fine with Cubase, Logic, FL studio and almost anything
