naja, die einen hängen ihr noisegate, reverb, delay chorus usw. in effektweg, andere bauens direkt in den amp^^

Den USB Port find ich bissl sinnlos, eig. rausgeworfenes Geld^^

Aber ansonsten sind die Funktionen schon top, Sound is Klasse auch das Noisegate is gut ;) Hughes & Kettner eben

The Coreblade is a pure Metalamp the switchblade sounds a little bit more like rock. Both are very good Amps.

A coreblade has more flexibility, but a switchblade is cheaper. It's a question of the Money. I think both amps are good for Metal/Rock.

wieso die schlecht sind? hör mal hin er spielt ne esp und nen coreblade (!) und trotzdem ist sein sound matschig plärrig überverzerrt und einfach scheisse. ich hoffe er wird niewieder an irgendeiner produktvorstellung teilnehmen

@uwemusic da er nicht geantwortet hat, gebe ich dir mal ne antwort: du kannst mit jeden amp metal spielen, der dir gefällt. wenn dir der amp xyz nicht fett genug is, suchst halt weiter. marken die ich empfehlen kann sind peavey - legendär! engl (hab einen fireball 100 und das is volles brett^^) mesa boogie diezel marshall jcm 800 rivera (slipknot) orange rockerverb (stone sour) hughes & kettner fame - bulldozer (geheimtipp für den mesa sound) einfach mal alle anhören ^^

Engl Powerball, Fireball, Savage, wasweissich, sind alle beliebt.

Ansonsten Marshall 2203 KK im Beast Mode, halt der H&K Coreblade, oder (meiner Meinung nach der geilste), Mesa/Boogie Single/Dual/Triple Recitfier.

Vllt noch Diezel, gefällt mir aber persönlich nicht so gut.

Hab das ding im Musik-Schmidt angetestet un das ding klingt echt hammer!

vor allem das noise-gate ist das , was dem amp so besonders macht, komplett aufgerissen hört man keinerlei rauschen und vor allem tighte anschläge und schnell abgebrochene riffs werden zum kinderspiel, keine ahnung wie die jungs das machen, dass wirklich NUR nebengeräusche rausfliegen und das ding auf einmal genau das macht, was man will!!!!! suuuuuper riesen hammer!!!

@Nightclane Hat Joey doch erklärt: das Noisegate ist eine Art Dual- Sample Komparator. Es misst das Signal am Eingang UND Ausgang und errechnet daraus die Frequenzen der Artefakte.

Can't decide between this and the new ENGL Fireball 100. I love the ENGL tone, but I'd have to spend thousands on effects and midi switching gear to create presets. However, if I bought this I doubt I'd be completely satisfied with it's tone.

Hmm, maybe it would sound darker and more modern with 6L6s? I really dig that ENGL tone, and if I could coax that sound out of this amp I'd buy it immediately.
