  • @afromojo1

Your right. I made this video 2 years ago so I was still in the process of learning more.

  • you made this video on my birthday :D

  • @NeishaShow

    really? happy belated bday =)

  • @presuchz21 thanks!

  • Love your hair.

  • Nice vid but...Afros don't protect.

  • Beautiful styles!! Love those bantu knots!!

  • Wouldn't consider AFROS as a protective style since the ends of the hair are still exposed to the harsh enviroment...besides that, great video for those who want to retain length.

    *PEACE*

  • thank you for posting this! It was very helpful XD

  • love this vid

  • This is a nice variety. I love the short kinky twists. Although I always think something may look cute on me and when I actually get it....I look crazy.

  • @3xaround LOL! I feel you on that! Cute on someone else definitely doesn't equal cute on me. : )

Glad I'm not the only one.

  • Actually it can be. If the ends of your Afro are not rubbing against any clothing or against your body, it can be a protective style.

  • @presuchz21 heat, dry climates, wind, cold, and direct sunlight (the elements) can be just as damaging & abrasive (if not more) to the hair as direct friction with clothing, the body, and other surfaces.

  • @seagreen2007

That's true, but, unfortunately we can't control those types of things.

  • what song is that?

  • Closer by Goapele.

  • thanks. i LOVE IT

  • can u please explain how afro mite be a protectiv style?

  • An Afro can be a protective style if it is not brushing against your clothing nor shoulders.

  • I have a afro & I dont see what U r sayin cause 2 me a protective style is something that after its done it does not need manipulation for a# of days & or weeks ie 2 strands twists or braids. with a fro it need to be styled/pick out daily or it'll be matted/lop-sided LOL maybe if U have a TWA U can get away with it but mine is medium sized

  • i love this video can u please put some more protective style videos
