  • Les gars, C'EST DE LA Boucherie!

Une turie! C'est vachement bien parti^^

  • shit I tought that was kind diamond

  • @FirePower3006 @DisturbedFan4AllTime You two are embarrassing yourselves go flirt somewhere else

  • All I know is this is one of Canada's top bands & this one is my fave bedtime song cuz it's fking AWESOME!!!

  • Good or not, the problem with the new iced earth album is that they wasted stu block by having him sing exactly like Matt Barlow. I was expecting something new.

  • @Specicide Are you kidding? Dystopia sounds in no way anything like their previous work, Stu Block is clearly distinguished from Barlow.

  • LOL@ the fake snow

  • Stu is amazing. Iced Earth is amazing. Into Eternity is amazing. ...Begins this timeless winter!

  • Its official. Stu is my inspiration to become a singer.

  • One of The MOST versatile Vocalists in Death Metal .... Love It I want a Timeless Winter

  • I am one of those who listened to Into Eternity a lot before knowing that Stu Block was going to sing in Iced Earth. Listened to Dystopia today, he´s one of the best Metal voices in a long, long time. What a fucking BEAST.

  • @theinmortal6

i too have also been listening to into eternity for a while and even had the priviledge of meeting stu in toronto, cool guy

  • I just wanna Fucken kill everyone when I hear this song fuck yeah FTW!!!!

  • Ok. I have to admit, I never heard of Stu before Iced Earth. I now HAVE to get this. DAMN!

  • just kiding he has a amazing voice and he can sing just incredible xD just amazing

  • my girlfriend said that someone kicked in his balls.. xD

  • @Swissstrike19 she is comfused his is not bieber

  • I just came

  • My right ears likes this...

  • I knew there was something special about Stu when I heard him with Iced Earth. After checking out Into Eternity, I think he might just be the best vocalist around... And the other members of Into Eternity aren't slackers either, can't believe I hadn't heard of them before.

  • saw them in philly. met the dudes. theyre chill as f*ck

  • My # 1 fave song of all time by my #1 fave band! It goes soul deep!

  • ...Is that Steve Bolognese drumming..?

  • I first learned of these guys when I saw them support Iced Earth a few years ago...they were just as awesome live. Stu Block is one of the best voices in metal right now, I'm stoked to hear more of him with Iced Earth. I wonder if they'll utilize his brutal death growls, that could make for some badass Iced Earth songs.

  • @Givingyouthefinger Awesome comment dude. Your's should be at the top!

  • IE > IE

  • first time hearing these guys. pretty kick ass. i think i would like it a little better without clean vocals. its cool though...i hear a ton of bands mushed into one here.

  • He needs to stay with them. Hes a good singer, but hes not Iced Earth.

  • Schaffer is not an idiot he'd never pick a vocalist that didn't suit IEs style, go listen to the re-recorded Dante's Inferno with Stu, its unbelievably amazing.

  • @cabby007 its ok, i could have done better xD

  • 4 November !! I will see live this LEGEND!!!!

  • Is he going to do the growls on the new IE album? Either way, it'll be a new experience I'm sure.

  • @Jason1703

I think even so as you do, Barlow cannot be replaced, but even Owens can't. with every singer jon schaffer is able to create another masterpiece of album in a different style.

  • I admit that I am one of the Iced Earth fans that checked this video out to see how this singer would do and even though I have only listened to 2 of their songs, I think this band rocks and the singer will be just fine in Iced Earth. I personally like his growling (its not too over the top) but I dont expect it to carry over to Iced Earth. No one can replace Barlow of course but I cant wait to hear new music with Stu as the singer!!

  • Soon the Dream Theater fanboys will get in on this, just to argue with the iced earth fanboys. Speaking of which, the iced earth fanboys are even more obnoxious than dt fanboys, which i thought was impossible. And Iced earth is a waste of Stu's potential, way better in a death metal band than whateverthefuck iced earth is supposed to be: weak prog? iunno

  • @ZTellisZ LOLOLOLOLOLOL That was good XD Although, as both a Dream Theater and Iced Earth fan, I have to say that Dream Theater fans are a lot worse. Just look at the whole MP leaves DT situation... they acted like a bunch of fucking pansies- grieving for Portnoy. I just can't understand why people have such a hard time letting go... As for Stu, whatever he does works for me; I'm sure Schaffer's opened up his voice a bit more, taking it in a different direction.

  • @squattingmachine The difference is that the iced earth fanboys are being butt-hurt on another bands videos, which is where my more annoying comment came from ^.^ like even the fucking top comments here are about iced earth....

  • @ZTellisZ That being said, I do love the stuff he's done with Into Eternity; I've been a fan of theirs for a while as well.

  • man...just watchin some into eternity vids after a long time...i know that stu is with iced earth...but why do all these trolls flame at each other on into eternity vids then on iced earth ones?

  • Comment removed

  • will you people stfu :|

  • this would be a epic band on guitar hero :P

  • My friend got guitar lessons from Justin Bender.... Before Justin left to work with Into Eternity,... Lucky fucker.

  • Stu is such an amazing singer!

  • The BEST frontman for Iced Earth is UNDOUBTEDLY Ripper Owens. Hands down!

  • @nelsonmatt24

    no..just no.

  • @nelsonmatt24 best singer? maybe, but he lacks charisma and stage presence

  • @nelsonmatt24 What the fuck does that have to do with INTO ETERNITY. This belongs on an iced earth video.

  • I have to say I'm pretty stoked that Stu is gonna be takin Matt's place as the frontman for Iced Earth, IE is about to get a much awaited dose of BRUTAL!!!!!

  • This guys range knocks you on your fuckin ass

  • @HST40 He's got great range... but I hope he leaves the chocolate milk vocals behind when he starts up with IE. Not into that. When he sings clean, the power in his voice is amazing. It will be cool to see him do the Ripper songs! LIES! THE HUMAN CORE IS LIES!

  • Seen these guys in concert twice years ago.Got to have a nice little chat with Stu and Tim.Insanely nice guys and they put on a hell of a show

  • Stu is definately a good fit for Iced Earth, He can handle both the Barlow and Owens songs and then some!! I'm very impressed!!

  • \m/>_<\m/ This is fucking awesome!!!! This guys vocal range is freakin amazing!

  • Stu is one of the most talented vocalist in the metal genre. An extremely unique and talented screamer with the ability switch between highs and lows at unmatched accuracy and speed. And a clean voice that can challenge that of ripper Owens or joacim cans. And he has nothing but the best backing him up with killer instrumentals.

  • 27 people don't know what good metal is...

  • well stu is a great singer but barlow is the greatest singer for iced earth..thats my opinion

  • I hate 3:28 - end :@

  • jon should of picked fred durst as a fromtman

  • stu is awesome

cant wait to see him live with iced earth and i hope he doesnt left this band too

this is a fucking awesome band

  • best part 0:09

"i grant you magic guitar powers"

  • JOYOFSATAN,ORG

  • Stu Block is a God.. thats all I can say.. <3

  • I fucking love iced earth, however all of these comments, mainly by iced earth fans, about stu block being shit are just total bollocks, if any of you have doubts about this guy, go listen to 'Pain Through Breathing' by Into Eternity, then try tell me hes a bad a vocalist, because this song is not a good showcase of his voice.

  • *boring comment about how he is now Iced Earth's singer* But, really though, this could be awesome, they've always been smart about picking singers, and, dammit, Into Eternity's awesome.

  • To some of my fellow Iced Earth fans, I am disappoint. I'll sure as shit miss Matt too, but you need to move on. I believe Iced Earth will still always sound like Iced Earth--remember, Schaffer's still in charge, and Stu has great potential with Iced Earth's style despite the (subjective) faggotry in some of his songs.

To you Into Eternity fans, sorry about my fellow fans talking shit about your singer on every IEt video. However, some of you are acting like douchebags. Please stop. Thank you.

  • @SyluxLockjaw If the butt hurt section of the Iced Earth wanna bitch and moan that Stu sucks on Into Eternity video's, we have enough right to act like douche bags. I don't care what the fans discuss on their own video's, but coming onto Into Eternity video's specifically to be butt hurt and do nothing but trash Stu, we can and most definitely will be douche bags.

  • @TheBloodRedX I hate to sound like a dick, but you just kind of reiterated what I said from a contrary perspective. I'm just trying to say that both IE's, sharing the same record label and now singer, are somewhat bound to each other, so the fans may as well get along (Remember, I'm referring to BOTH sides here). Metal fans arguing amongst each other? What are we, Shitknot fans? I know IcedEarth and IntoEternity fans are more mature than this. Matt Barlow and Stu Block are both amazing singers..

  • @SyluxLockjaw I must have misunderstood. I understand the point you were making about how immature it is, but I was defending the right to be a douche bag to another douche bag who is close minded and cannot change their opinion, even their claims are totally baseless and make no sense. Yes, we should be much mature than this, and I believe the real fans are, but on youtube, it is filled with "hardcore fans" who got into the band yesterday being super butthurt.

  • @TheBloodRedX Agreed. YouTube, unfortunately, is literally swarming with butthurt twats and is virtually devoid of rational conversation. I'm glad we could come to a reasonable conclusion.

  • I love the lead singer's actual singing... lol, the other vocals aren't for me ;) but, it's cool.. I saw them on the DT "chaos in motion" tour. it was cool

  • God, this Guy sucks... I miss Barlow right away

  • @VoiceOfTheVoiceless7 Well too fucking bad. Barlow is never going to be in Iced Earth ever again. Grow the fuck up and get over it. Stu may not be the voice of Iced Earth, but to say he sucks means you're just a butt hurt piece of shit that would suck Barlow's cock. You wanna be a disrespectful cunt, I will be too.

  • @TheBloodRedX well said hahaha

  • @TheBloodRedX Well said, im sick of all the iced earth faggot fanboys talking shit about block. You dont like it, dont listen to it.

Stu might make this band come out in to the lime light, and not stay in the shadows like barlow did.

    Fuck iced earth.

  • Dont be so quick with the hate man, and dont just put everyone in a category

Iced Earth and Into Eternity are both fantastic bands....metal should unite not divide

  • @kane5000 Fuck yes.

  • @kane5000 I try not to.

But im sick of all the barlow fanboys talking shit about block and owens.

    Barlow is a talentless nobody.

  • @eviljester1987 barlow is not as talented as ripper owens or stu block... but he was a great voice for iced earth

  • @eviljester1987 there's a reason schaeffer kicket tim out when matt came back .. and the ONLY reason stu is in iced earth now is cuz matt is leaving , that's not being a fanboy thats stating facts

  • it doesnt matter how good of a singer he is, Tim Owens is a great singer but I lost all respect for him when he joined Iced earth. why you may ask? Cuz u can not follow in the footsteps of Matt Barlow and expect to live up to expectations. Good luck but I will probably feel the same way after this new album

  • Congrats to stu For getting the iced earth frontman job

  • First song I heard form this band. Amazing!!!! They juss gained another fan!!!!!

  • My god the drummer plays the bass drums like a snare....

  • i love the vocals !!!! !!!!!

  • Thumbs up if you just fucking loved Into Eternity, even before all this Iced Earth shit.

  • @Zezmak Didn't before, still don't. But I love Iced Earth, and Stu is a phenomenal vocalist.

  • @KyleJPie10 well, at least you have one fifth of the equation correct.

  • @Zezmak You poor child, Iced Earth is one of the greatest metal bands out there. I'm not saying there better, I'm just saying that both bands are great, know your shit before you post stupid comments like that on youtube and giving it 22 thumbs up with 22 different accounts you made to get attention.

    YOU FUCKING POSER!!!

  • @PRThunder787 Are you retarded? I was connecting to the people who liked this band before Stu joined Iced Earth. I know Iced Earth was established way before Into Eternity. Your grammar makes my eyes bleed, and every one of your accusations I either just disproved, or made no sense in the first place. Go drink Drano you over obsessive, passive aggressive fuck.

  • @Zezmak Word.

  • @Zezmak

I hope when you say shit you mean the entire affair of Stu joined Iced Earth and are not calling Iced Earth shit.

  • @amicrazi indeed I do sir. Iced Earth is amazing, I'm just annoyed that all the fans are judging Stu now.

  • @Zezmak Iced Earth shit....Iced Earth is as brutal as Into Eternity and Stu is only going to make them a better band.

  • @Zezmak I love old Into Eternity.. but the new Iced Earth song with Stu rapes the new Into Eternity song in the ass.

  • @konmann2007 true

  • @Zezmak I saw them at Gigantour in 2006 but didn't listen much until now. Does that count?

  • @Zezmak You should be happy, this will raise awareness about them, like Tarot and Nightwish.

  • @Zezmak I love into eternity but the only reason why I found out about them was from iced earth, but I don't compare them. Stu is amazing either way.

  • @Zezmak Iced Earth 'shit'? Their new album kicks ass

  • @DisturbedFan4AllTime Amen brother, stu and IE, match made in heaven...er, hell...lol

  • @kane5000 You are awesome man. THE ANTHEM SHALL PLAY

  • @DisturbedFan4AllTime Says the person who listens to disturbed

  • @FirePower3006 Dude, shut up. Just because I listen to a band you may not like doesn't mean you have to make an ignorant comment to me about it.

  • @DisturbedFan4AllTime Go fuck yourself and go listen to your rap metal

  • @FirePower3006 Go fuck myself? Like you have any fucking authority over me, you insignificant piece of dog shit. If anything, you probably listen to shitty rapcore and feel so insecure that you have to badmouth other metalheads to deal with your own fucking insecurities. So I say to you, asswipe, Go fuck yourself. I'll not be dealing with your ignorance anymore.

  • @DisturbedFan4AllTime I was referring to disturbed you pathetic faggot decaying camel dick sucking porcupine fucking queerbag

  • @FirePower3006 I could give a fuck what you were refering to, asshole.

  • @FirePower3006 wow. dude, you actually deserve a price for writing the most redicioulus dumb words in a row.

seriously dude....accept what other people are listening to, it doesn't change anything to your taste, so why give a fuck? i'm really into all kinds of death metal, from Dark Tranquillity 'till Benighted....but i actually enjoy some stuff like Disturbed or Godsmack every once in a while - are you gonna call me a fag now? playing the super-true metalhead on the internet is not cool, dude!

  • @DisturbedFan4AllTime i don't know how people can call them shit. they may have released a couple of albums that not everybody liked. but hell, the taste of a person doesn't make something suck.

and YES the new album kicks ass :-) cheers, dude!

  • @Zezmak Agreed....even though Iced Earth is not shit. Stu does an amazing job in there too.

  • @Zezmak Both are amazing bands sir, unite not divide

  • LOL, looks like I'm not the only one here that looked up Into Eternity just to hear what Stu Block sounded like. After hearing him sing this song I could say with confidence that he is definitely compatible with Iced Earth. The section of the song that starts off 1 minute into the video shows off how dexterous this guy is and his vocal screams are really good. Also, Into Eternity are pretty good too. Might check them out more :P Can't wait for the new Iced Earth album!!!!

  • His high pitched vocals are some of the best I've heard. If not the top

  • @Satanasity TO EVERYONE TRUST IN JON. SO FAR THIS MAN IS PICKY AS HELL AND SOME SAY DIFFICULT TO WORK WITH , THATS WORK WITH. ALL SAY THE SAME. THE MAN IS PICKY AND KNOWS WHAT HE WANTS AND WILL GET THE SOUND THE WAY HE FEELS ICED EARTH SHOULD SOUND. ALSO MATT AND JON ARE BROTHER IN LAWS AND CLOSE FRIENDS AND TRUST MATTS OPINION SO DONT FRET TRUST IN THE ICED EARTH SOUND STILL BEING GREAT LIKE ALWAYS

  • Stu's high pitched voice can give Ripper a run for his money

  • @jono330 lol, Ripper is one of the best metal vocalists on the planet and surely better than stu (stu is also pretty good though)

  • @DTROXX ripper is but , stu is more versitile. if ripper isnt doing clinched nutsack vocals where he can shadowbox then his vocals are not so great. good with wolfbane kicked robs ass with priest. but he did model himself after rob and then perfected the rob sound. i believe stu will fit in alot better than tim but tim did surprise me and do an excelent job though. stu may have also given jon more ideas and aggressiveness

  • @DTROXX True That. L

  • @DTROXX True That! Let's hope Stu can make Iced Earth awesome!

  • @DTROXX All Ripper and Stu need to do now is a song together. That would be epic

  • stu sounds great, nice skills. the definite question is: will stu be able to put as much emotion into his vocals as matt does.

ripper tried and failed. technically he is definately one of the greatest singers in hm and one of my favourites. he just couldnt sing ... lets say melancholy or the intro of dracula as its meant to be.

lets see how stu is going to get along with the old songs, and - of course - how the new cd will be with him.

  • @Schmusibu good question

  • I think Barlow is the definitive Iced Earth vocalist. Having said that, Stu should do fine as the replacement. You can't really compare the two, because their vocal style is so different. Stu will certainly give them a different sound than Barlow, more in line with the Ripper sound probably.

  • Comment removed

  • He's a good singer. But I'll wait until I see him live with Iced Earth in Wacken to see if he fits. I think both Ripper and Barlow are great singers. And I can say I'm very happy to have seen Barlow's last show with Iced Earth at Sweden Rock Festival. It was great!

  • @Astillion matt barlow will be the vocalist for wacken, and the rest of the summer festivals.

  • lets listen to another storm rider....I think the time is right with this vocalist to return to the roots of Iced Earth

  • Iced Earth was sounding cool with the ex singer..but I guess I would start listening Dream Theater if they get a singer like stu.

  • it would be amazing to sound like him lol

  • if this dude growls in Iced Earth it will be so fuckingly WRONG... i'll miss Barlow

  • And people say Canadians suck at this whole music thing. Right here they just proved wrong =D

  • @Giggleocalypse who the fuck says that? fuck them. Canada rules, especially in metal. Cryptopsy, Voivod, Annihlator, The Agonist, 3 Inches of Blood, Strapping Young Lad ( Devin Townsend) to name a few.

  • @majorblood87 Protest the Hero.

  • amazingly amazing.......

  • he is very, very good, I can´t wait to see it in iced earth, matt barlow clear it remains one of the best vocalists of iced earth, but I think this will not make things bad may surprise you with an innovation, with those who are not vocal cords,So if no longer miss barlow, but hey, it was his decicion

  • stu's the shit,hailz into eternity

  • Geez. Nobody - nobody - can replace Matt Barlow. Stu should stay in this band. I respect this guy's voice, but, after hearing this, I think Iced Earth should close up shop if they don't have Barlow out in front.

  • Fuck you people Stu is too good for Iced Earth, and Into Eternity will be bigger than them forever >.<

I might give Iced Earth another look now cz of him though xD

  • New Iced Earth frontman.

    Approved.

  • Both ripper and stu are capable of taking over barlows position but I actually would have preffered if Ripper had come back to Iced earth instead because stu is better off in a band like this where they have a mix of high pitches and death growls. Both men are capable of taking over barlows position but it seems like a waste of stus full vocal range for him to take on Iced earth where as iced earth encompasses rippers full potential

  • @666purgatori666 I agree with you for the most part... though I saw Tim in some live vids and, despite his awesome vocals, he's just not a great frontman... almost no life to him. Might have just been those vids, but it helped me understand a bit why many fans didn't take to him. I think Stu will fit in fine. Not a fan (at all) of growled vocals but I suspect Jon will use them a bit where appropriate. Don't discount that possibility till the new album comes out.

  • Looks like Iced Earth at Graspop will be epic.

  • @Kerbalf Graspop wont be with Stu yet.

  • @Guyverhoeven Oh really? Care to explain? (I wouldn't mind but I thought Stu joined Iced Earth since March)

  • @Kerbalf Matt Barlow finnishes all the European Summer tours. It has been said a thousand times already.

  • Damn, I remember back in 07' and 08' around the time IE was touring with Dream Theater everyone thought they were gonna be the next big thing in metal, now all the comments are about Stu joining Iced Earth. It really is a shame their career completely flopped.

  • YOU BETTER NOT FAIL ICED EARTH!!

  • Now that Stu is in Iced earth, my anticipation for the new album just grew. Stu Block + Iced Earth = Metal at it's finest.

  • wow this band has 3 kemo's and 2 long hairs. This song blows. shitty solo with the same scale as the intro and an easy drum beat that is not hard to play. Its funny that these new metal bands like into eternity , job for a cowboy, white chapel, winds of plague, and many more suck so hard. Its a disgrace to where metal first came from. I hope this band actual develops a thing called talent.

  • @MrDirtyUncle I'm eager to see if you can do better. Or maybe you don't even play any instruments and don't know what the fuck you're saying.

Btw, according to you, where did metal come from?

  • @MrDirtyUncle As opposed to all those 80s bands who played the same shit over and over again. Or seventies or whatever you're into, I don't fuckin' know. I agree that Whitechapel blows, though.

  • This is the most versatile singer i've ever seen... And i thought Jon Oliva was pretty awesome.

  • their fucking best song!!

  • I won't lie I'd never even heard of these guys until I heard Barlow was leaving Iced Earth, but I think Stu might be pretty damn good in IE, even though it pains me to hear that Matt's leaving.

  • @TheSalameander I agree, I was pained to hear Matt leaving again but I really think Stu can bring some freshness to IE that they could really use.

  • is it just me, or do the drums at 1:08 sound seriously awesome?

  • @ucod001 You are correct

  • Great range, looking forward to see how it will be used in the new Iced Earth album.

  • @SpawnRevenge92 Will he be doing straight cleans with IE or growls as well? I don't know how I feel about growls with IE.

  • @roijas I don't know but I find it unlikely, maybe they0ll use them just as a bridge thing like on attilla, as a background, but I doubt Jon would change the style so dramatically, and Stu can use falsetto,s creams and melodic very well so he won't need to ;)

  • @SpawnRevenge92

Jon shouldn't have been such a dick and kept Tim.

  • @Vazcular You gotta be shitting me. Stu Block is far more talented that Tim Owens. Tim Owens is a laughingstock.

  • @darklordvyperx

Yeah, at growling. Wonder why Judas Priest didn't hire him, LOL. It really doesn't matter though as Jon writes 90%+ of the material. So any decent singer will do.

  • @darklordvyperx Ripper is a god.

  • @eviljester1987 Tim Owens isn't a God, and anyone who thinks he is, has no taste in vocal talent. Plain and simple.

  • @darklordvyperx Wow. your stupidity amazes me. ripper has a fucking 6 octave vocal range. no skill huh? go a head and continue sucking barlow's dick you fucking tool.

  • @eviljester1987 And that's one of the reasons why i don't like Tim Owens. People like you who can't come up with intelligent points of discussion. 6 Octave vocal range huh? Didn't sound like it to me, but you go ahead and keep telling yourself that. Whatever helps you sleep at night.

  • @darklordvyperx how is that not an intelligent point of discussion? evidently its to intelligent for your feeble reptile brain to comprehend .
