Every second of this video was obviously well thought out and was highly spectacular. Also it doesn't hurt that one of the actors in this video is my cousin (Chris Cipriano).
Well he was the biggest up and coming star of the space program in the 80's, but while training on a mission to the moon he was involved it a terrible accident in one of the flight simulators. As a result he lost his eye and was never able to travel into space.
SPECTACULAR! I helped film/ was in one of the other music videos and I'm a little sad to say that this one blows them all out of the water. Very clever- amazing work.
My friends and I were watching old NASA footage on their 16mm projector and we listened to We Own The Sky because we were inspired by your music video! Good luck!
A very good video but...can anyone tell me in what way is it related to the idea of the song?really now, it is a good video but it has no connection to the song...excepting these astronauts and stuff...
As a music video this is the best story telling I've seen, which is the most important aspect of course. And as a film, it has a grit and poignance to it that brings forth an EPIC message to the viewer. You'll have to watch it to find out what it is. Best thing I've seen on YOUTUBE, hands down.
WHOA...holy fuck. I was watching this and thinking of how it reminded me of one of my favorite shorts...a little film called BRUNO...BY SAM FUCKING GOETZ!
I effing love this video--can't stop watching it. Superb editing. Keep making vids, please. (And how awesome is the Audio Preview feature for YouTube comments?)
Well, I must admit that I came into this with incredibly high expectations; not because of the names involved with the project, but due to the fact that it was presented to me under the guise of being the sequel to LEONARD PART 6 -- misleading, to say the least! In fact, unless I'm mistaken, Bill Cosby does not appear AT ALL in the video (possibly a cameo in the park, but that's iffy.)
But even so, the genius-level quality of the work won me over in the end -- we're talkin' BONERSVILLE!!!!!!!!!!
I appreciate the checklist of challenging physical requirements necessary for celestial travel. Clearly, these men are ripped. Very funny guys. And +1 re: the eyepatch.

Love it James! Nothing like a good coach/scientist with a eye patch sending his young proteges on the mission- ESPECIALLY when he has an eye patch.

oh, i love it. you guys are really very whimisical, you know that?

The space shuttle animation is horribly perfect. Any way we could get a few more pull-ups on tape without camera tricks?
