I wish someone would mention that Hillary's plan didn't go through in the mid 90's because she was bought and paid for by special interest groups. Obama should bring that up but won't out of civility. It really is a shame though. That is a major issue with Hillary's credability on health care.

Health care is out pacing inflation because no one cares about the price since the insurance pays it. Obama, plan seem more focused on keeping prices low. Transparency is a good thing for keeping prices down. Clinton plan will have even less focus on who is paying because the government will be paying and probably become a captive regulator.

what i want to know is, how do they plan to pay for universial healthcare? i mean, the war costs 7 billion? ok, but ppl get hurt everyday. we'd go through that money very quickly...so where's the money gonna come from? i am SSSSSSSOOOO confuzzled

a lot of americans overpay insurance premiums b/c the insurance companies are trying to make a profit and they also withhold insurance from some customer also to retain a profit. in a universal health care system, the government takes care of the insurance so the citizens don't overpay for health insurance and the health care becomes more efficient when it comes to financial matters.

JEssewpool. It may seem awful to you because perhaps you can afford it? Or perhaps your job offers you that? There is a vast majority of people who either can not afford it, or have jobs which do not offer it. Having the option for goverment sponsered healthcare is not only wonderful, but its necessary as a basic human right. If we stopped spending billions on wars, and started giving basic care to our citizens, as every other western country, then we would afford it.

Universal health care is an awful concept, imagine hospitals with the same service you get at the DMV or any federal/government run service. It is not just about being inconvenienced, it is also something this country financially cant afford to provide to its citizens. The real problem is this countries declining economy, that's whats behind its citizens and employers not being able to afford health care.

They fight each other because they both want the nomination and they do not agree with each other because they naturally as humans have different opinions. It is a election, why do you expect everybody to agree with eachother?
