  • @Patacuz Sorry but Everybody Fails with this song...

There's no song called "requiem for a dream" just try to find it here.... the real name of This song is:

Lux Aeterna (Compossed by Clint Mansell)

from the Movie : Requiem for a Dream (2000)

actors: Ellen Burstyn and Jared Leto (Just find out, I'm a fan of that movie)

  • what program did u use to make this? like: make it match, clip, time music..... like that.

  • windows movie maker

  • Okey, thanks ;)

  • @Shanor909 Thx =), Good job btw

  • Really good vid, thats why I subscribed tp u

  • @snoopdog1700017000 yo sry took me so long to reply...once I start uploading videos on my new accoutn sub me

  • The pauses probably were because at one point the music changes into battle type music. That is the point were Gandalf and friends clash with the orcs. The music picking up and the clash had to coincide so he had the little pauses so that it would be exact.

  • nice vid man

  • hay

do u mind if i use this for a trailer? ill giv u credits and tell people to visit ur channel 0,0

  • As an avid fan of Gandalf, I love this video!!!

  • 2:35 to 3:55 is just about the definition of epic.

  • Glamdring owns all!

  • best scene ever of lord of the rings 2 at 1:07 to 1:16

  • i like the song and the movies but in this video you made the movies look so bad when the vid kept making those little pauses every 3 secs or so

  • I loved the intro when the beat comes in and then gandolf comes in with his horse

  • Geat job, man=D

  • despite i don't really like that song, it just seemed like it fitted perfectly with this. great Job!

i give you 5/5 for great editing :D

    Greetings

  • Thank you

  • btw great vid!!

    :)

  • Requiem was an amazing movie, probly one of the most moving inspirational movies i have ever watched.

And to clearify this song is not called Requiem for a Dream. It is called Lux Aeterna and it is from the score Requiem for a Dream written for the movie. The piece heard in the Lord of the Rings trailer was a variation of Lux Aeterna arranged by Simone Benyacar, Dan Nielsen, and Veigar Margeirsson. This variation of the piece was named Requiem for a Tower.

  • theres a movie called requiem for a dream and thats where this song comes from, its a really good movie

  • amazing!!!

  • You have no idea how long I have searched for this song, so thank-you so much for puting it up! :D I'm so happy! And especially love how you put the two towers fight in there, and then at the end put Gandalf there. This video had a very good storyline! Great job!

  • Thank You

  • there are too many of these you tube over does requeiem........great song great vid but...just id ont know

  • I love this song !!!!!!!!! thumbs up

  • I would recommend that you shorten each scene to about an average of 2 seconds each, but this works pretty well. I wouldn't do it for my own, but perhaps there should be a few Requiems with long scenes that are everyones' favorites. I hope to soon give this vid a challenger based on my viewpoints. Comment on my Requiem please.

PS:about your vid slowing, have you tried using Absolute Recorder? I'm not sure, but Youtube doesn't seem to like Winavi or using the same converter twice in a row.

  • kinda sucked cause the video kept slowing down and speeding up

  • fantastic song

  • great song and film

  • There have been so much music videos like about LOTR

  • oh i love how 'Shanor909' fallows Gandalf of the edge of the brigde.... that was very cool...for some reason i never would have thought of putting those to tgether....very niced job..

  • Requiem for a Tower... Cornerstone Cues does it in three movements, you can find it on iTunes. ;)

  • okay...what is the actual name of this song? I know it's from Requiem for a Dream but I need to know the actual name so I can buy it on iTunes. Thanks! :D

  • Requiem for a dream (remix)

  • Also called Lux Aeterna...

  • Ya know, I've always wanted to know what it really is called but never really got to find out, I'm just lazy.

  • at first i thought it said penguin for a dream lol

  • black colored humanoids are called orks

  • eh.. what? xD

  • well thats what they call them!!

  • thx

  • it could really be better... but is still well done

  • this song sounds great on any, ancient war based movie

  • What scene does this music originally play?

  • just wanted to let u manyturk that this music is from teh trailor =)

  • In no one (it was deleted from the film)

  • when the music comes towards it's climax you could have had clips of the hand to hand combat at helms deep thrown in along with Gandalf's descent to add to the impact. Good vid though.

  • So Nice ,)

  • This is the best video with that song ever made, by the way- the stronger parts of it are very well associated with sertain scenes where the action is important:) I love this:D

  • I have this version and in my playlist it's a remix by Clint Mansell -> requiem for a dream( orchestral version)

  • it could really be better...

  • They made a copy for Lord of the Rings? I thought it was just for the movie, 'Requiem for a Dream'. O.o

  • i dunno i think it is remix

  • Where can I find a copy of this song? I have the versions from Requiem for a Dream, but not the one they remade for LOTR. Epic! :D

  • quality could be a whole lot better

  • who favorited it?

  • I have. And rating 5 stars.

  • OH! OH! OH! ME! ME! I DID!!!
