Not much of medieval Glasgow left thanks to the Victorian vandals and over zealous reformers. John Ogilvie was held (and tortured) in the building that used to be attached to the one in the film before being hanged across the street. The steeple clock was part of a larger church burned down in the 18th C. Sad so much of old Glasgow is gone, it just grew to fast 1800-1900 to keep its heritage in tact.
