@ZXLNT I just pulled off there because it was a driveway and I didn't want to miss the tornado. The side of the road didn't look very level to me so didn't want to risk it.
@stanswx Yeah when we pull off to get these storms keep in mind with all of the hazards that are in and around these storms, there never really is a true safe place ;)
I live 10 minutes south of that location. Seems like Elmwood is this area's tornado alley, live South Pekin - Green Valley is on the other side of the river.

god it sucked last night we were luckily not hit but we had atleast 5 tornados touch the ground around central IL
