  • i luv blck labs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • he's cute but u can do a lot more with that puppy cause my black lab can sit, stay, lay down, shake, shake with other paw, bang (plays dead),roll over, put your paws in the air u are under arrest, jump, come,(put treat on nose and she waits with thetreat still there until we say ok),and much more!

  • bad quality

  • yeah me and my brother taughtours to pound it, shake and high five. when he shakes he does it with his left paw, when he high fives, he gets his right paw waay high like raising his hand. and for pounding it, it is like shake only at the end he grips.. lol. lying down is easy for him to do dont really have to tell him twice.

i love black labs they are so smart.

  • keep up the good work we have three labs two black and one yellow , i love coming home from work to see them barking at me through the window , great dogs !!!!

  • wow he is so clever to get it all that early

  • @aaliyahraks actually my black lab, who is now ten, when he was that age he was learning to shake, and high five, and lye down. its is pretty common with black labs or any lab i would guess, they are so smart.

  • That dog looks cute :)

  • im getting a 7 week old puppy like this, this weekend!

  • Wow,brill.

    Mine's 4 month's,working Labrador....girl...called Lucy.

    She's got 4 rosette's at age of 4 month ! :D

    She can sit 'n' stay

    Sit,lie down then roll over

    Hand stake

Stand on two back legs & walk on back legs for 10 secs

She can also wait for her treats then when we say GET IT she gets it.

sorry for life story, just like telling !

    GOOD PUPPY YOU HAVE XX

  • @Heather2010ish I just got a black lab from the local animal shelter yesterday. She is just under 4 months old. Im sure I can train her to do most of what you listed. What methods did you use to get her to roll over, walk on her hind legs and wait for her treats?

  • @uhjigali

    Wait!

Don't train her yet to stand on her hind legs as it can destroy her hips and bones.

Also don't walk her too far as it can also destroy their bones, but when she's fully grown or either atleast 6months+ you can walk miles ;)

  • @Heather2010ish Really? Who told you this?

  • @uhjigali

My professional dog trainer who has dogs in Crufts, Labrador books and the internet.

  • You have him off to a good start!

  • that looks like my dog Elwood!!!

  • Hey, wow that's amazing. Very clever dog. I've got a lab puppy, she's 9 weeks old and is v playful obviously but im realli trying to train her most of those things you mentioned, can you pass on any tips please coz id greatly appreciate it.

  • Is it normal for a black lab to bite ? my dog is 10 weeks old and he keeps biting us ?

  • He is probably just playing...

  • Yes it's perfectly normal, this is during their teething stage they just want to get anything hold of to bite. Encourage them to bite and chew their own toys, if you find it biting something like furniture, give it a tiny little tap on the nose and say no, and then give it a toy to chew on, I found this way good for teaching it not to bite.

  • once ur dog can sit. take a treat and put it in ur hands and close ur hand and put it on your dogs nose so he or she can smell it. keep saying down or lay down while moving ur hand slowly lower and lower untill ur hand touches the floor, then slowly pull it towards yo so it your dog lays down keep practicing that untill he can learn to lay down. even though shadow is only 5 days old, he can sit laydown and beg. i didnt teach him to beg but somehow he already knew! well i hoped this helped u alot

  • this was a very good video and good job training your dog!

i also have a black lab. his name is shadow and he is only 5 days old! he cant even go outside yet. but ive been training him every day in my house for 9 hours. i spend alot of time with him. here are some tips for teaching your dog to go go down. 1st get a treat for it that he or she likes. show it to him or her and tell it to sit. if it doesnt put ur hand in a kind of bowl shaped form and say sit. ill finish my comment in the next 1

  • at 5 days old ur dogs eyes wont even be open ?

  • it did when he was born. i know that is not normal but i think shadow is very special.
