What help? At the outset of the war, the US only had one airplane that could dogfight worth a damn, the P-38 and the earlier versions had engine/technical issues. The Spit is a beautiful plane. The Brits (and Scots and Irish) won their own air war. The Luftwaffe did not have any fighters that could loiter over Britan so they had a distinct disadvantage. Once again, Hitler planned poorly. His bad logistics lost the war. We did kick his butt too...

Nazism doesn't work because humans aren't robots and will not all agree on an uber strict regimen. There has to be enough liberalism to allow for human expression and individuality.
