  • Why Medical Care??

  • why is there duct tape in the doctors surgery :s

  • those hairs can make you go blind!

  • Everytime I watch these expert village videos they crack me up at how scripted the talking is. Its like shes trying to read from really far away

  • To avoid being bitten by a tarantula

    - Long sleeves and leather gloves (for safety precautions and self confidence)

    -experience with tarantulas

    -common sense, steady hand

    -gentleness

  • Id use gorilla tape. A lot stronger

  • i came to see someone get bit

  • I really don't likes these vids. The info in them is not that good and not all tarantula's are 'mean' to the point where they bite you if you stick your hand in there. I have a female rose hair and she is so sweet, to the point I have never had her flick hairs or warn me that she was going to bite. This person is the kind that you find at petco not a owner.

  • @sheridenwoodward Either name is appropriate. It was originally called a "duck tape" because it's waterproof (like water off a DUCK's back); later, people started calling it "duct tape." Both terms are right.

  • i want your boooob oO

  • @sheridenwoodward

Well, there IS a brand of duct tape called "duck tape".

  • @sheridenwoodward - There is a type of Duct Tape branded 'Duck Tape' in America. It is arguably more commonly and generically referred to as 'Duck Tape' instead of 'Duct Tape' in the US anyway. Comes from the saying 'water off a duck's back' I believe...

  • leave your tarantula alone? stop messing with it in the vids all the time then!

if u get bit just take some anti histamine tablets (avoid this if not needed, they say it weakens your system a lot). and rinse the bite spot with hot water, breaks down the molecule's in the venom. also Tarantula venom is not deadly for humans unless u have serious allergic reaction to it

  • god damn this bitch sucks. they honestly couldnt find anyone better? hahah

  • do i call a doc when i get bitten? i don't trust her.

  • @Nesoc if you get bit and have anything worst then a bee sting your allergic to a tarantula bite and need medical but if its just has bad has a bee sting than your okay

  • brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

  • She reminds me of Max Branning's Ex - Wife off of EastEnders..haha

  • "They might not have the anti venom"

Good thing there isn't tarantula anti venom....

  • Well, Mary, you convinced me to not get a tarantula.

  • why would somebody want one of these as a pet

  • im scared shitless of spiders and crap

  • She sounds dumb.

  • How about you don't buy a fucking tarantula in the first place. Who the fuck buys a tarantula...get a dog!

  • I'd tape her mouth shut. Sheesh.

  • First day I picked up my tarantula it suddenly had a bald spot and I had an irritated arm, lol.

  • @demonjack123 rofl :D

  • @Rolfmeister Hey,you know a good online seller of tarantulas (preferably juvinile or adult) with reasonable price?

  • @demonjack123 no idea mate. sry

  • @Rolfmeister Alright thanks =) I'm just going to buy from KenTheBugguy

  • @demonjack123 reptmart.com

  • @lilginnie1 Thanks! At first I was weary about them due to their layout reminding me of generalexotics. But after a quick search I found nothing but positive reviews! And I love the low price, so I will definitely order from them, thank! =)

  • @demonjack123 i ordered a blizzard leopard gecko from general exotics. i received him in just a couple of days!

  • @GamerDudeish Yeah and was it alive?

  • @demonjack123 Yes, he was perfectly healthy when i received him. sorry for the way i worded my comment, i don't always think about what i say before i type it.

  • @GamerDudeish Ah okay then! Congrats! I guess they are starting to get their act together. But I went ahead and bought from Reptmart already and already have had my tarantula for a week or two =)

  • @GamerDudeish And your comment really makes me think you were paid to advertise that. It's just the way you phrased it.

  • the only good advice here is rip off the urticating hairs with tape. you could just rinse your hand tho :L

  • lol..

get bitten by a tarantula, phone the doctor since you're going to need antivenom, for that G. rosea

  • @Velexian Thank you! It's mind-blowing to me how much mis-information "Expert Village" continually spreads. Pathetic really, because most people assume they actually know what they are talking about.

  • y u talking like your speaking to a 2 year old u fat fuck

  • ill give that tarantula a fucking box of crickets to shut that stupid bitches voice up.

  • The tarantula should bite her!! I stole all of the anti venom xD

  • hell no my tarantula will never do that for me

  • Apparently, you're confusing tarantulas (completely harmless bites) with brown recluse spiders (very dangerous bites).

Looking at the comments, it seems this channel is filled with crap. I'll take a look at the other videos just to have a laugh at some more stupidity. :P

  • She basically just said go to the hospital and get help. anyone can say go to the hospital morons. i learned more searching arachnoboards for 1 minute.

  • So one of the warning signs that your Tarantula could bite you is... biting you?

  • i was told some tarantula bites can cause nerve damage that can last from days to years!

  • With ant bites ot wasp stings, I usually mix baking soda with water to make a paste, then put it on the sting, which sucks out the venom. Would this work with tarantulas?

  • She looks like she's trying to read from a Teleprompter or cue cards. And not very well at that!

  • @Velexian well i was bit by a oranata a couple days ago on the chest....damn thing crawled up the tongs like it was pcp but anyways the pain lasts for a week. still experiences muscle cramps and its 7 days later now im not allegric or anything but that bite fucked me up for a while.

  • Comment removed

  • "Wow i lerned sumthing tuday. :)"

  • @Velexian ikr there arent any dangerously venomous tarantulas that could elave mor e than a little swelling KBTs can give a gross bite but nothign serious retards these days

  • tarantula bites arent serious lol wtf im i watching( unless ur allergic to bee stings too)

  • @sheridenwoodward It's a brand of duct tape dumbass

  • sounds like you should just get a hamster or something

  • i used to work at petco and they always said a tarantula bite is only serious if you are allergic to bees... i guess this means they have the same or similar venom but its not typically fatal for humans unless in large doses

  • stop studering

  • going to buy tarantula

  • Grammostola rosea - most agressive and venomous spider EVER!!!

  • @mochoowo I hope ur not serious.

  • @saulhudson420 I'm kidding. Chilean rose is the calmest spider I've ewer seen :)

  • @mochoowo lol, I figured.

  • @Velexian thank heavens for comments on youtube; they can really give you a glimpse into whether a video is right or bullshit

  • haha when she ripped the duck tape of she was blaits thinking ''FUCKKK'' hahaha - the stupid bitch dont know what shes on about - dont listen to expert village appart from the little man with a ponytail

  • @Velexian shame to the people that agreed on your comment!!!If you are bitten by a p.regalis or a baboon spider you have to visit a hospital because you cannot predict how your body will react to the tar. venom!!!And asomething else ,an allergy shock will not call first!!!

  • all you little dumb kids talking shit about expert village aren't forced to watch it, and for me... i know nothing about tarantulas and it has helped me understand a little bit about them, so fuck off with your attitudes.

  • @SensiRootsBoy I think you've missed the point. The point is that there are MUCH better and more informative videos out there if you want to learn something about tarantulas. Yes, everybody has the coice to NOT watch a video, by the same token we also have the right to let people know that what they are watching may be a total bunch of garbage! If you want to learn someting go to somebody like Jon3800. Maybe you should re-read your comment and think about your own attitude?

  • @danpure nice link, you give me a link where some guy shows of his spiders and i can't get any good information for the brain, just eye candy. Nice job you retard.

  • @SensiRootsBoy try looking in his video uploads.. Again, perhaps YOU are the one that needs to sort his/her attitude out. I hear talking big on the internet makes you all tough? Grow up

  • "remember that your tarantula has the ability to bite if it feels threatened." yeaa, and poking your finger in it's face isn't making it feel threatend right? she's freakin stupid XD they must have some pretty crappy duct tape too for it too come off that easy lmao

  • Some species of Old World Tarantulas can give medically significant bites, but it is quite unlikely that they would be dangerous to warrent a visit to the ER.

  • @Velexian Lol that's wha I've been saying but people are just not informed lolol

  • @Velexian oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

  • @Velexian You've never really been stung by a wasp have you...?

  • hehehe since when did tarantula venom become deadly? I thot black widows and brown recluses were

  • "when this happens,,leave your tarantula alone" LOL,

  • Whattehell? Contact physician?? Rose hair T`s are like a bee sting they say... I have 7 more venomous T`s and none of them are lethal

  • lmao tarantula's aren't poisonous...lmao

  • @xxFairestxx As much as I don't like this video and the lady, or whomever wrote the script, is on the ignorant side of things... She never once said anything about being poisonous. She said venomous.

  • @StarsShadow Bro, poisonous means if you touch or eat it you may be infected. Venomous means the toxin is INJECTED into you via stinger or fangs. Tarantulas are not poisonous, or venomous to humans. Nice try genius.

  • @xxFairestxx lmao. Firstly, I'm not your bro. You simply stated that tarantulas aren't poisonous. I thought it was rather stupid and irrelevant, since not once did she say they were. Also, tarantulas are venomous to humans. Different species have different potencies of venom, and as such, affect us differently. We're not likely to be mortally wounded though. Just because the venom won't kill us doesn't mean it doesn't have an affect and in-turn make it non-venomous.

  • @StarsShadow Lol, k man. Tarantulas do NOT have venom. They have an enzyme that is not scientifically grouped with venoms or toxins of any kind. They are not scientifically considered venomous or poisonous, nor does any species of tarantula out to date give a reaction more than minor swelling when bitten. It is NO more venomous than a kamodo dragon is. Unless of course you think their bacteria filled saliva is venom too.. hahaaha

  • @xxFairestxx Could you site your source(s)? Go ahead and watch watch?v=06nkjEVAkV8

As well, most books and sites that I've read state otherwise. So maybe you'll want to spread your knowledge around on this youtube video, as many users have commented about their tarantulas being venomous, etc.

  • @xxFairestxx Still waiting. I see that you've replied to Velexian. And from what you've said to me, you've said nothing along the lines of what Velexian stated.

  • @StarsShadow I have nothing to prove to you, the information is out there. youtube is no place to give a random stranger a list of my citations. on a comment lmao. just do your research. peace

  • @StarsShadow Also, the tarantula's salivary glands secretes a digestive enzyme via the fang into the prey's body, whose function is to dissolve the tissues of the prey's body. It is not considered venom OR poison, and the enzyme is not able to work on human tissue. The hairs are considered "poisonous" because of their effect, but it actually is due to infection by bacteria on the tarantula's body. They are NOT venomous. They overpower their small prey and then use the enzyme.

  • @xxFairestxx I know about the enzyme to break down prey so they can be ingested, but are you saying that tarantulas are not venomous at all?

  • My tarantula loves me would never bite me

  • Youtube search "P. Regalis Bite_02" by tarantulaguy_1976 for a REAL expert on tarantula bites!! That guy has balls the size of grapefruit...or a brain the size of a walnut. I haven't figured out which.

  • Expertvillage is a load of bullshit, I just have to put this out there it just is.

  • haha, no holding my tarantula! what the hell is a pink toe going to do to me?

  • expert village must be an ironic name. every video ive seen is total bollocks. fix up expert village, maybe do some research or something.

  • What the hell is your problem? Stop hating on this woman and shut the fuck up.

  • i hate this fat bitch fuck expert village

  • See still same videos all info pretty much incorrect like always...if gonna do vids do them right an with knowlege...as most ive seen setups are incorrect ect

  • At 0:15 there is a spider inside a box, can somebody say me the manufacturer of this terrarium and where i can order it? I would be also thankfull for some good terraristic online shops in usa.

  • @Kampfhamster1985 wtf are u talking about

  • I enjoyed everyone's comments more then this lame ass video!

  • ...........BBAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA

  • @Velexian THANK YOU! Fucking idiots TRYING to sound educated.

  • What does this have to do with Vash's DMC4 walkthrough?

  • Duck tape!?! DUCK TAPE!?!

I'd prefer the irate scratching than rip my arm hairs off! Besides, it's only like sticking your hand in Fibre Glass insulation. It may itch and you may scratch but it goes in an hour or two

  • the onlything bad about duck tape is if it is on your arm and you have hair its gonna hurt your arm hair.

  • @Velexian I know what you mean, she also neglects to mention that if you get Urticulating hairs in your eyes you may possibly be blinded.

  • the rest of those "lubricating" hairs off?

  • treating a tarantula bite: smash tarantula.

  • @JuicedJetta That is deadset the funniest fucking thing i've read all day. :)

  • maybe there really is a village somewhere where everyone talks as pretenciously and has the same hollow look behind their eyes as this one, without having any knowledge of the given subject but just cracking on regardless.

  • My theory for those things is, if it bites, squish it ...

  • fuckin duct tape can fix everythin

  • OMFG MY TARANTULA BIT ME. i go die?

  • @edge1andre yes

  • @TuViejaGordoForro (after 1 week) NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO :'c

  • daaaaaaaa

  • duck tape? lool is this DIY now?

  • I really really am yet to see a video from "expertvillage" that isnt complete crap. ALL of the ones I've seen are by complete amatures! YouTube would be a much better place without them on it!!

  • @danpure stop watching them then....?

  • @mintageness I have thank you.. the problem is that people often come to youtube trying to learn something, pick up some tips or get information on a specific topic. You can guarantee "expert village" have made a video about pretty much whatever you are searching for and time after timer it is an absolute pile of drivel. People should know that what they are wathching is substandard... That's all

  • @danpure the snake videos are usually pretty right on, especially that one guy with the ponytail

  • my choice for a pet was tarantula or hedgehog...

    Um hedgehog muther fucker!

  • @Velexian To be fair, some can require hospitalization. There is a video of RobC getting bitten by a P. Ornata, and on top of unbearable pain, it basically paralyzed his arm. If you can sit through that and let it wear off naturally, you are a bigger man than I am.

  • @AnObeseAardvark RobC ftw :D

  • Expertvillage: Please stop making videos. You don't know what you're talking about. There is no anti-venom for tarantula bites. Just leave the bite alone and treat yourself for the symptoms if you are bit. [And a bite from that G rosea is basically harmless.]

  • but it was a avicularia avicularia!!!! so in english they speak alot of a tarantula when it is a big spider, but when you read the books about them then you will know that wolfspider is a tarantula and a conothele species is in our language een valdeurspin, and all spiders like brachypelma,apphonopelma,aranea,avicularia,eucrateoscelus,.....are birdspiders(vogelspinnen) greets from belgium

ps i wright a book about spiders, and i first read all the true facts, the families off the labidognatha,..

  • @katinkakyara Obviously there is a language barrier that is going on here. I believe in this instance we are both correct. Wolf spiders are considered "European tarantulas", but here they are considered true spiders. However, it is still incorrect of you to say that this G rosea is not a t. Wolf spiders come from a completely different family than what we consider to be tarantulas here, which are members of the Theraphosidae family.

  • Comment removed

  • @katinkakyara T's are the only arachnids that exhibit all 5 of the arachnid characteristics, including having 8 eyes [not 4]. Wolf spiders are called tarantulas because of their actual name [they were the 1st to be called t's], but they really cannot be classified as true tarantulas.

  • @katinkakyara "Although the term ‘tarantula’ is often wrongly applied to any large hairy spider, and to some large wolf spiders in southern Europe (Lycosa sp., fam. Lycosidae,) only members of the family Theraphosidae (suborder Mygalomorphae) are true tarantulas." Published article: Toxicon Volume 43 Issue 5 "Tarantulas: eight-legged pharmacists and combinatorial chemists" btw, this was a paper published in France at the Institut de Pharmacologie Moléculaire et Cellulaire. So it disproves this

  • @katinkakyara "European tarantula" thing. [France is in Europe]

  • @katinkakyara OWNED!

  • no caley 1992,it's not so simple as you think,it's not true what you are saying.

a tarantula has 2 big eyes and 2 little one's (wolfspinnen)a wolfspider(wolfspin)is a tarantula, but all the spiders like Grammostola,brachypelma,vitalius,haplopelma,....are birdspiders.they had from in the beginning the name birdspider, and at 1705 saw maria sibille merian a birdspider take a kolibrie and then they know that it was not a fantasie but a fact, and that was not a goliath(theraphosa blondi)

  • @katinkakyara

Caley is correct. I've been keeping for more than 16 years. This IS a tarantula. Tarantulas are a class of large hairy spiders that belong in the family Theraphosidae, with many subfamily classes. While the tarantula did originally come from the dance from the bite of the Lycosa sp..they are NOT tarantulas.

  • omg........

  • Both of these two below me are far from experts in fuck all so please ignore anything they have said because both are wrong on alot of things

  • Expert village doesnt know shit about tarantulas, the bitch cant even read the card right. Thats a G. Rosea(rose hair) and if it bites you, just try not to scratch the bite, cuz it might itch for a couple minutes. Thats IT. 100% harmless. Dont waste doctors time when other people have REAL problems. They dont have anti-venom, you will look like a dumbass. If a Poecilotheria or other old world T bites you, painkillers might be in order, but benadryl is the only thing a Dr will otherwise give you

  • put it back in the cage BULLSHIT i would get my shotgun and put 10 rounds of buckshot in that shit

  • "irritating" sounds like "urdicating" or some random shit like that.

  • Ummmm..... Affected!

  • you mean well,i am sure of,but with a more venomeus spider ,you better go to the hospital for a injection that you also have to get, when you are bitten by a cat or dog.

i dont's know the name in englisch off that injection(de klem).and verry important ,stay calm!!!!then you're blood go slower, verry important with a venomeus spider.i was bitten by a black widow, and here in belgium was no anti poison,so i stayed calm, and at the hospital they make a little isigen and let the blood flow out.grts

  • @katinkakyara

Stop referring them as bird spiders. Bird spiders are nothing more than pet trade names in order to sell them tarantulas. Bird spiders are given to select few south american genera such as theraphosa, lasiodora, pamphobeteus, while african species are baboons, asian are earthtigers

As caley said, tarantulas have 8 eyes depending on species (6 with pslamopoeus). They look 2 to the naked eye; you need a good magnifying glass to see that the eyes are clustered, have bad eyesight

  • for to start:it is NOT a tarantula!!!a tarantula is a wolfspider(a lycosa is a tarantula),this is a birdspider, and the latin name of this species is a grammostola rosea, kind, not dangerous,a spider for beginners.

however i know a rosea who was agressive,so this is not always 100%true.

so change it in al birdspider iff you want to inform people on the correct way

  • @katinkakyara Um, a Grammostola rosea IS a tarantula, a wolf spider is NOT. AND it is NOT a bird spider. Grammostola is a genus of TARANTULAS that also includes G pulchra [Brazilian black tarantula] and G pulchripes [chaco golden knee]. Again, this is a genus of TARANTULAS which are the only arachnids that have all 5 of the arachnid characteristics. Wolf spiders, on the other hand are what are known as TRUE SPIDERS, which do not have all 5 of these traits. Wolf spiders are not t's. Also, a

  • @katinkakyara Bird spider refers to a "bird eater" which is a goliath tarantula. So this G rosea is not a bird spider. Though you may have gotten the species correct I would really check my facts before misinforming people about tarantulas and spiders.

  • she left out the last and most important step :

    squish that little bastard

i never understand why would anyone keep ungrateful , stupid pets who bite

  • @sewagedweller they only do it for self defense what would you do if some crazy guy came up to you and tried to punch you

  • @caramelslider298 uhh self defense i dont think it has enough brain for that , it bites when it feels disturbed . I get how people keep stupid creatures as pets based on the beuty , like goldfish but why in hell would you keep ungrateful bitch that bites every time you poke it wrong ?

  • @sewagedweller uuuhhhh you know what you just wont understand and you are totally wrong it bites if you pick it up in a nasty way oh and y would you want to poke it would hurt the spider thats when he bites you

  • @caramelslider298 while normal pet would make a sound or whine when mishandled to show its unhappy damn thing will poison you ? If you want something exotic , get a wild boar or something . At least they are hundred times smarter .

  • @sewagedweller you dont like these then... well for starters there not ungreatfull they are just scared, second thing it is self defence but biteing is not always the case in self defence 3rd thing some are more likely to bite because they only have that as self defence and 4th thing on the subject .. why would somone give birth to an ungreatful dick like you ey =] its ok for you to defend you're self but nothing else huh ok , learn somthing before you say shit yea

  • @TarantulaUK21 ok spider-fan-bitch , spiders dont have a brain so there is no way for them to remember their owner , in other words they will always remain ungrateful . Now go and suck a dick will ya ? I have nothing against arthropods , i just dont see why people would keep venomous creatures that cant even remember faces as pets .

  • @sewagedweller of course they cant remember faces they cant bludie see you.. but taste and smell, i have a tarantula this end that puts you to shame mate.. see i have a chile rose also, he is so calm and docile in my hands but as soon as he walks onto anouther set of hands he goes crazy... then when i pick him up of that person hands he is calm again.. now im sorry but at what point were you "born" a tarantula ... ok dogs there ungreatful 2 they can turn on you n scar you for life, dog fucker

  • @TarantulaUK21 spider homo , just couse its hairy , its not a substitute for a pussy .

  • @TarantulaUK21 tarantulas do not recognise people, it will be calm on you because your hands prob will not be shaking

  • @TarantulaUK21 Spiders do have a primitive brain that acts as a central nervous

    system.

Their brain does not handle things like emotions, logic, or creative

thought. They don't even have a sense of pain.

Spiders, like most arthropods, only have a natural instinct for survival

and propagation of the species. (all they do in life is eat, avoid predation,

    and make baby spiders)

Because they eat insects, they are beneficial to man.

  • @Stephthatackle did i say emotions logic or creativity... im not expecting to see any of my T's to be holding a paint brush and painting me a picture lol, but they do things in a self defence manner, defending there teratory... i wouldnt say all they do i have seen more from these animal's ... some people even dought the ability for them to taste and smell but they do... but for the emmotion part they show alot of it, pain iv seen tarantula's shake after faling and curl up to try and hide

  • @Stephthatackle iv seen then be in pain to say the least, and it is very easy to see when a tarantula is uncomfortable, they also hate being with each other, they would rather live alone... to me this is enough to say a tarantula has more than what people give them...

  • @TarantulaUK21 Your trying to go against my years of research and PROVEN science with your misspelled "opinion". Everything this spider does is programmed into it. It can't recognize you by your smell. Thats ridiculous,A spider is dumber than a goldfish,is a comparison some spider researchers use. everything they feel is based on instinct and they do not likely experience emotional feelings like sadness, hope, anger, joy.

  • @Stephthatackle no i did not say they recognize me by taste or smell i said, they are able to, maybe you're research has not paid of

  • @Stephthatackle but yet they can feel stress, think about wot your sayin before you say itt

  • @thedeeptone1986 Stess is a natural feeling. Its programmed. A fucking parasite can feel stress,if its off of its host.

  • @TarantulaUK21 uhh hello they are cannibals ,what do you expect ? They have a very basic nervous system , so they feel damage , use hydraulics from movement when punctured they cant use their limbs, do you even research your pets ? Mate you are a bloody moron , should stop skipping your biology lessons .

  • @sewagedweller yes i no and yes again i no, you're just stateing everythinbg iv said but in simpler term's, so if im a morron for saying exactly the same as you have then you are also a moron, i pointed out they cant be kept together, due to being challenged on it, but some can be kept communial, yes i no, you're telling me to do research on my animals, there's a diffrence, i no what im doing, what is in those enclosures, all in all you have just repeated what i just said so work it out yea
