The really old Escorts and Starlets are great ! hotrods are so much more present in the Uk. We have some great drivers in the Netherlands, but is such an expensive racing class now...If you want to be in front you have to put in ridiculous amounts of money, IMO.

For me the best era in Hot Rods. The mark 2 escorts were great, but the early hot hatches have got to be the greatest period. Just as the dominance of 'the top 3' disappeared and there were so many stars. I think I was at most of those meetings as well :-)
