i remember how difficult it was for me.. i first got to the first robot fight and lost like 20 times before i won, but did i stop??? never, this game is just to good:3 especially festival village:D i loved reaching it so... perhaps thats why i love the snow now:D
@Cyberdemon1993 I was wondering if you can make extensions to these songs. I really like this tune and I wanted to see if you can do this tune for 10 minutes as well as the other songs in this game. By the way how long has it been since you uploaded these.
Ah, what a good song. It's funny how music is often the most memorable element of videogames, a fact that is often neglected by contemporary game developers.
This statement is absolutely true. I don't like the fact that most of the actual games don't have catchy tunes in their levels anymore.
They just want to make games more and more realistic and forget about the music, which is one of the most important things in a video game. It delivers the most atmosphere!
Really Koji Kondo and the staff at Mario and Zelda are the only ones I can think of that still make music that works into the game and is memorable at the same time.
Not true at all. Gears of war and Halo had some of the best music. Sure its not catchy but it definitely delivers the atmosphere. Same with more controversial games like Madworld.... games got a great soundtrack
You must, if you haven't! It's so much fun, and the music is amazing. There are so many songs that I love in this game, and this is one of my favorites!
Mine too. I actually began studying the culture after that, and I got into their myths and gods as well. They really did worship dragons, but there was no god called Koryuta. The game makers invented that one.
Cheers cyberdemon I had a spark of a memory of a song from this game from when i was about 12 or 13, i check youtube and here it fackin is!! thanks again buddy
you wouldnt happen to have the song that plays when youre in the diner would you?
I remember this cheerful tune the most from this game. I'd say this and a tune from goemon's super nes game both help inspire a really simple animation when I was in school.
Man I can't help listening to this song. Nowadays it even hurts a bit in my heart, but it's so godly you are forced to hear it and repeat it. And in the end all the nostalgia, the very shining youth of 10 years ago, it all comes at once and leaves you with a cleansed spirit.
@Poneglyph wow, you summed it up perfectly. theres no going back to when you were young, the golden years. its amazing yet hurts at the same time to see/hear this stuff
I used to hum this tune and so many other songs from this game throughout my middle school years. It has aged so well compared to many other top N64 games. Konami has always held music in their games at such a high regard and this game is a great example of it. Think of some of the most memorable tunes you can hear from an older console and chances are a Konami game is on your mind.
thats what i used to do too kupo u have great taste in video game tunes but my fav was the.......what was the name of that snow village again that was my fav tune from this great game :D it's been so long i forgotten :(
I think it's called the Festivile Village, that was one of my favourite tunes too. Ah, the memories. I remember hearing these scores for the first time and being completey blown away, I used to play them in my head when I was doing my schoolwork.
I think that this is the only tune that I listened to endlessly but whenever I listen to it again I literally have a blood rush and feel my heart in my throat. It is that good! This composer deserves a medal.
That's the one I wanted! Thank you! It's so long since I played the game, sorry if it wasn't near Yamato like I said! You get five stars for that (like everything else you've posted, heh). You've made me a happy person.
Favorite game. Ever. Period. No exceptions.
