Great mix of Poe and Dante's "Inferno" - 'a demon holds my place on Earth 'til I die'. In "Inferno", the worst sinners' souls are taken straight to hell and a demon takes their place on Earth for the rest of their mortal life. Great image of torment.

Metal is an odd duck. There's a huge amount of extremely talented musicians in metal, and a lot of them never manage to do anything remotely interesting with that talent.

There's some great metal out there.

There's also a lot of people who just play fast and sound bad. And then there's the Yngwie Malmsteens of the world - great guitarists who never learned how to end a song.

This is the prettiest country song ever. Period. I've had this album for a couple of years, and I just gave it a listen for the first time the other day. Her voice is somewhere between Patsy Cline and Loretta Lynn, but with a dark, almost gothic twist. I love it. Neko rocks!
