Jason is an amazing talent and I love him to pieces as a friend. He just played Mt. Baker @ the beginning of the Aug. and we had the privilege of providing "taxi service" for the band. Jason, and all the lads, are all extremely intelligent, highly skilled players and should be treated with great respect for all the hard work they do to provide the rest of us with "entertainment." Jason,Shawn, Todd & Ed rock the Casbah!!!

yup he actually asked Jason if he had to pick cotton to play blues! I loved his 'no but I had to sell my soul to the devil' lol. Have a feeling the Robert Johnson inference sailed right over...they only saw the 'Done with the Devil' CD, his jewelry and immediately figured 'devil worship' (which he is NOT into). The superimposed $40,000!!! reaction to the Harrison harp was also hilarious...not sure they heard that it's a PROTOtype..ergo the high cost. Otherwise a fine interview ;)

I said the same thing to a few friends concerning what people call TRADITIONAL BLUES these days, back in the day LW was an innovator and I bet he was criticized by many players for it!! I believe in being TRUE TO YOURSELF and playing what YOU FEEL!!! So many people JUDGING and JUDGING, too many "GODS" in this world!!!
