Haha that was good don't be so tense though! :) my band is doing Novus as our second song in our show which is called Malagueña good job!

But all in all Amazing :) they seemed nervous but this was a great perfomance in all. the marching in Novus was little shotty because of the song but the second was great.. Keep up the good work at that school! we need to keep the music flowing through our schools and teach kids about real music. I was a trombone player for a few years in junoir high.. i looked forward to every day. Its good character building :)

I feel like this piece is more suited for a concert band. because even though it has good and easy notes.. i feel like it would be better executed in a seated band. I find marching band to be best with more lively music. as the second song shows. More action in the songs helps the members of a marching band to stay motivated in the song. Seated bands dont have to worry much on executing around a field.and can focus on the transition between notes. These guys in novus were cutting their notes.
