  • phew, I thought the title was ''mollest the cockatoo''

  • I'm getting a female cockatiel and I'm gonna name her Zelda! :D

  • The only way I can tell males from females is that the males never shut up and the females lay eggs all the time. .___.

  • 0:11 lol

  • Molly is awesome and so adorable!

  • And although I know you know Molly is a boy but yeah another sign is the way he whistles and holds his wings out. I'm pretty sure only boys do that.

  • How old is he? Adorable!!! I'm getting my first on October the first and my parents and relatives had a lots of cockatiels when I grew up so I'm ap exited for mine, they were my best friends and my oldest "cousin" Zackie is 28 years old and everytime I o to grandma he recognises me and sings his heart out. Thats love.

  • My bird loves 2- attack my head.

  • So cute! We got our cockatail yesterday, we think he's a boy and he's already confirtable around us. How can I teach him to sing or immitate voices?

  • see the all-yellow head on your cockatiel? That means it's actually a boy. Sorry to break the news. I know because I work with birds every day of my life. The females keep more grey on their head-getting just a small patchy-like bit on their heads if any at all.

  • @melissaposten See the comments all over my description about Molly being a boy! I know he is a boy, and that's why it's written everywhere.

  • @melissaposten That's what my nan thought about her bird, Charlie. Until "he" started laying eggs. >_>

  • How can you tell if it's a boy or girl? I have a cockatiel. We THINK Cuckoo is a boy, we're not sure. He has yellow head feathers, bright orange cheeks, but yellowish yellow tail feathers mixed with dark gray tail feathers. Halp??

  • Usually a bright orange spot and yellow head shows a male.

Molly is a male. Also, underneath the tail should be all black and not spots.

  • adorable! we have a few tiels and with that bright face, and the whistles, he's like the boys we have too, except ours are not as tame or able to talk

    thanks for sharing :)

  • That bird looks like my bird, plus mines a boy,ur bird looks like a boy 2.

  • Yeah, Molly is a boy. I named him before I know he was a boy. Check out my new video of Molly on my channel.

  • The yellow head feathers are the sign of a boy, that looks like a boy to me

  • Her tail feathers are all black now, so along with all of the comments here., I have conceded molly is a boy :-)

  • Females can talk, but Molly's a boy.

  • he is so awesome!

    he is a male.

His head has the shape and structure of a male, his coloring his male,

and his "bottom" area are male.

    male thru and thru!

He looks just like my boy!!

enjoy... Cockatiels are so awesome and so loving...

  • I think you have yourself a boy!!

the darker cheek spot, his legs, his head, the talking...

pretty sure you have yourself a very smart talking boy there

beautiful!!!! looks like you reallly love him and take good care of him

  • Females can talk too...

  • Excellent video, especially the closeups. Any chance molly is a boy?

  • We are pretty sure Molly is a girl, by the marking under her wings and tail. She does seem to talk and whistle lots, and she also 'wood pecks' a lot. Maybe she is a Tomboy!
