@kinlyki It was originally a doujin game, the fact that they got any adaption is nothing short of amazing. I mean it was what launched Type Moon and considered one of the greatest VN's of all time but they were rather unknown back when the anime was made so the budget for it was non-existent, i think they were happy just to get animated. Well until they decide to remake I'll just stick with "There is no Tsukihime anime."

The reason they are denying the anime existence is because they are most likely "purists". they believe that certain manga should have been made into manga form because the manga was better than the anime. some cases this is true. mostly this comes from die hard fans.

Now i don't mean any disrespect. I LOVE tsukihime. one of my top shows. and trust me I have seen faaaar tooo many. over 200+ anime. that's over or at least close to 1000 individual episodes.

@varghud The thing is, both the anime and the manga are adaptations of a PC game. The anime only adapts one route of the PC game, and has to cut a lot of the most awesome moments out entirely due to budget constraints. The manga, on the other hand, keeps every moment that made that route incredible (Shiki vs. Nero Chaos being the big one- the manga actually makes that one better!) and adds in bits from the other routes for good measure. The manga is a way better adaptation.
