  • School teaches us that we are insignificant and ineffectual as change agents. Makes us much easier to rule!

  • wait a second...post civil war: were not all Americans converted into slaves to the feds? Civil war did not end slavery...it enlarged the slave population to include all human colors!

  • Its not force. then lets not enforce it!

  • yt:stretch=16:9 Add this tag to make this vid fit the screen.

  • 5:25 I can totally relate to that.

  • Did you get a new Camera? the Picture looks great!

  • I have a little paranoid question about anarchy. Have you ever heard about coil guns, or electromagnetic weapons? They are not really that expensive and anyone can build one in the comfort of their own homes. They are silent and powerful , can pierce through steel. Can't a bunch of dudes get together and just take control with their superior weapons technology? The same can be done with high pressure tanks. Though, sure anyone can make this technology, but the best group would have the best edge

  • For one, they wouldn't have the ideology of supporters backing them up. The most important tool that the state has is the moral sanction of the populace. In a populace that understands that violence is wrong, they may go on a killing spree, but they would quickly be put down, especially if they tried to make themselves known. They simply wouldn't have the ideological support necessary to maintain their power. They'd just be murderers in the eyes of society.

  • I thought about something along the lines. My concerns are more of the transitions than actual fully incorporated anarchy. I understand when Stef says that the state will wane once everyone realizes it's folly... But somehow, knowing much about the state's atrocities and having a good idea of the end game, i don't see us as EVER going to get our anarchy without completely destroying society first.... or even our planet. We're fucked! :D

  • He is also very entertaining. I'm always right there with Mr. Veinotte. I guess thats what makes him a good teacher.

  • I just listened to school sucks, and now I fear for my mind. I'm still in there, and I need out.

  • There's over a million laws, codes and regulations on the books in just the United States and each state has its own laws. With more new laws to come next year and each year thereafter.

In years past how did people and society manage to prosper without the laws that would come years and decades latter. How do we prosper now without future laws?

We all break the law on a near daily basis. Yet society hasn't collapsed becasue of it. Lock all us criminals up and it will collapse.

  • Yes, Stef. Make a note of the Complete Liberty Podcast. you have said that people that think they can do it better than you to do it, and a lot of the time, Wes Bertrand does.

  • Particularly check out the most recent episode where the hosts make some good arguments against some of the stuff in some of your podcasts, particularly 1448.

  • I tried listening to Complete Liberty podcast and it was extremely boring. He has basically the same philosophy as Stef from what I heard from the latest podcast, but he's very monotone, it sounds like he's reading most of the time, and he doesn't have the personality of Stef. I don't feel like I'm getting anything out of it. Do you have any podcast recommendations that would be more enlightening or entertaining?

  • Different stuff for different people. The hosts on Complete Liberty do discuss articles on many of the shows.

For more stuff, check out the Liberty Radio Network for a list of different shows that might be of interest..

  • Excellent, I look forward to checking it out!

  • lol another member of the brotherhood :p , hehe you anarchists are really something else :p , i knew before it was a dillusional belief system , but now i realize how really stupid it is , no matter what you do anarchism will never ever work , tribe a will always want something tribe b has and visa versa , whats sad is people actually promote the idea of such a barbarbic society

  • I want to hear more about the Prussian model. I can't find it.

  • listen to the school sucks podcasts... :)

  • Calling someone a label is just a way of calling them a follower. To simplify their conclusion down to a category dimishes the individual thought process that led to the conclusion.

  • Brilliantly put! :)

  • Given that the state is such a powerful bully, it's not doing a very good job on clamping down on youtube videos and podcasts. Maybe it's not such a bully after all!

  • Awesome Stef - just an excellent conversation.

  • More with you and Brett!

  • This is probably my favorite so far. Just hearing you two bounce back and forth the logic and ideas you have in a freestyle manor is really great. I learned a lot and realized my natural curiosity is OK. The strange structure that is college and below really makes me feel bad about my natural curiosity and excitement for new ideas. Thank you for validating me.

  • Stefan, talking to Brett brings so much value for us all... especially for future generations.

    Amazing discussion! Thank you!

  • This is one of the greatest conversations I've ever heard. I have to take a break just to take in what I've listened to in 20 minutes. And I've listened to these types of arguments before, but something else is going on here, and I can't process it in real time.

  • I hated school, but know I enjoy learning more than ever. School does suck!

  • This podcast/video certainly put a smile on my face after a dreary day. Thanks :)

  • 37:40 EPIC WIN :DDDD "Well, show me a society without slavery" :DDDD awesome, great, wonderful debate (or discussion). Really enjoyed :)

  • Fantastic, both of you. This interview is full of win.

  • Fascinating discussion. It got me thinking when you mentioned the inquisitive nature of your daughter and therefore the natural inquisitivnes of the human mind. I came to the following thought.

We marvel at the abilities of the ancient humans, their vision and their ability to create things which we would struggle to create today with all our technology. Amazing cultures and human advancements. Might it be because, unlike us, they were not restrained and restricted in their childhoods?

  • What always strikes me when the natural state of a child is discussed is where did the poison begin. If children are naturally curious, affectionate and brilliant at what point did it all go wrong? It's only a speculative question of course.

  • I believe the problem is parenting. It begins from there.

  • Indeed in the present. I'm curious about where it began. Which I realize might not even be an important question but just one of interest.

  • Oh, you mean historically ? Then i don't know, I'm not an expert :D

  • Well, I would imagine that parents have always wished to protect their offspring from harm, be it... 'don't touch that plug socket' (modern) or 'come away from the fire (ancient). So I guess that the rot really began in relatively recent educational systems/curricula. Fee paying schools, to an extent, still encourage free thought and experimentation. Regular schools teach that which is needed to pass exams, to up the pass rates, and look good in our league tabled system.

  • Yes but again it began in the human psyche. So, if children start out good when did the first human derail. I mean, the "recent educational system" is a product of human minds. It's a very broad question and perhaps a "chicken or the egg" thing

  • they are all just filtering system

nowadays you need a masters degrees with 3 years experience to qualify as a Hoarse-shit shoveler.

a brainwashing system filtering and teaching stuff of irrelevance

the tricke-trough effect is propandized as open to all ..... but we all know its a lie

  • after you get through your a brainwashed cooperate slaved in constant ANGST and or dependence of a global bullying system keeping you in that perpetual state and frame of mind

  • Wow, Thank you Stef for introducing this young man to us! You were both sharp and very engaging! I have goose-bumps while viewing this exciting coming-together of brave men to do good!

  • He mentions an author early in concerning public education. Who is this author? Spelling?

  • John Taylor Gatto

Some of his lectures are on YouTube. Also, his essay 'Against School' is a must read. He's written 2 books and is working on a documentary as well.

  • how can a relativist label someone else an absolutist?

for people who believe that children are bad, why would they have them then?

  • to "make them good" and "save their souls"

  • I really want to talk to you personally, how can I?

  • woah 47 min that must of took you all day to upload!?

  • He's had longer

    Much longer

  • lol :)
