Well, I never found out why the subtitles wouldn't work on this part, and despite all of my efforts, I couldn't improve it, sorry....

i didnt read the book yet and i wonder if i should keep on watching or better read the book first,,,

Well let's see.... I think it's better watching it first, otherwise you will be tempted to look in the film for what you read in the book (I always do that, so troublesome), and you'll be disappointed.

The film highlights more the emotions than the book, that is quite descriptive and reflexive about history and society.

Well, I read the book first, and I liked the film very much so.....
