At 1:33 are you talking about how harmonics are added to change the texture of the sound?
Like each waveform has its own harmonic structure like a sine has one fundamental, itself, and a saw has even and odd harmonics and so on. I was just wondering if that's what I was seeing or not. Cool video by the way. :)
thanks for the compliments, especially on the scope shot. i was worried it wouldn't translate well. my camera angle was actually embarassing, and i use a Canon SD1000 instead of a real video camera. the audio on these is recorded to the Alesis HD24 and then mixed with the video in Digital Performer.
Do I understand that as soon as you frequency modulate the waveform you get these pretty pictures but it isn't audible since the modulation is out of the audio range?
there is an audible effect even at superaudio modulation. the reason i say i don't know how musically useful the pictures are is because at that point i'm not listening as much as looking.
The scope waves are sp pretty, which scope is that.
Never used one, where do you attach the rods ?
Great video very intrsted in getting this folder for my first trip in to modularverse

yeah this device totally takes a sine wave and adds harmonics to it. it also can _bend_ a sawtooth wave, which is pretty wild too.
thanks for the compliment.

Far out, ST Guy! That sine wave is *unrecognizable*!
Can't wait to get my Waverfolder!
Keep soldering!
