This is why I continue to teach violin to young people after 30 years. I never know if the child I am teaching will be one of the next great violinists to perform on stage. (of course teaching adult beginners to play to their full potential on violin is close to my heart too)

Thanks for posting.  I love Lucia. Of course, Chris is great too, but somehow I feel Lucia is very under appreciated. Both Chris & Josh Groban have recognized that she's a phenomenal genius, but somehow it's men who keep running the show, and the women are sidekicks. That bothers me. She's just incredible. No one has better bowing than she does. No one.

I saw them live at Wolftrap, VA. They played this song, I was mixed with emotions when i herd this song, i did not know wether it was a sad song or happy, its so bittier-sweet it almost hurts to listen to but i want to here it again and again.

its almost like life it self, beautiful but fleeting no matter how hard you try to hold on to it. All you can do is enjoy it while your here and even then one day you too will wittier away back to dust.
