I think it would be better if you referred to that video as Vulcan Take Off, because the vulcan is famous for being the largest plane ever to do a complete 360 degree barrel roll and i think that is what everyone is expecting to see!! Not just to see it roll off down the runway and take off. Never the less Good vid

even larger aircraft have been rolled on purpose. 707s, B52, B1, Tu-95, C141, Tu-160, VC-10, 757 and rumor has it a Singapore Airlines pilot tried to roll a A380 but only got to 270 degrees. Its easy to roll a plane if you can maintain plenty of airspeed and 1G throughout the roll.  thats the theory anyway not advised in a C5 but am sure someone has tried it.

@mini4life92 in aviation a roll is moving around the longitudinal axis, and in military aviation, you can be damned sure they don't have time for confusion when it comes to terms... so how can the two things be referred to by the same verb?
