I'm Asian and I don't think this is a big deal. In my experience in America, Asians really don't have much to complain about - we're well educated, have the highest paying jobs, live well, and are generally respected and treated well by every race. I barely noticed it and only did because I was specifically looking for it after all the hullabaloo. Toby Keith has a history of offending Arabs, so they were probably looking to bust his balls. I'm not sure, though, that he voted for Obama. He praised him several times but he also levied praise for John McCain and Sarah Palin, who deserves none. When I was staying in Taiwan, there are Native people that aren't like the "light skinned chinese" and most Taiwanese are "actually racist against them! Since I suck at Mandarin, when I was describing the light skinned Asian I pulled my eyes tight... and they didn't care! Some of them thought that Americans were probably racist against them, and I told them no. They thought we used the term "yellow" and I said that term is old and not really used.
