Jumpsoles are much better because you can use proprioceptors. Also, the jumpsole will allow you to stretch your calves a little bit more and with the proprioceptor you can train your calves from many different angles. And BELIEVE me i have got results with the proprioceptors and used them for balance exercises and I would just go with the jump sole.
use the strength shoes not the jumpsoles shoes are better and im 14 and 6 ft 5 and im white and could barely dunk with the jumpshoes i gained 8 inchs in verticle over 3 weeks!. thats amazing!. now i can 360 jama nd windmill!. get the strength shoe trust me but follow the exercises the shoes come with and watch the cd rom it comes with
what u could do that will guarantee you jumping higher is run up and down ur building stairs, in other words stair cases cause that works like running up hill, that is what i do and when i am finished i fell the pain i run a building of 25 floor twice up and twice down.

A friend of mine used the shoes in high school and ended up breaking the state record in the high jump! He went on to win the NCAA high jump title as well. People who have used them, love them.
i used the strength shoes and i jumped over the backboard on fastbreak and i was called being out of bounds

reason i like jumpsoles best is that you dont have to get 1 size im 13 so my foot will grow out of these shoes

check out the Katapult strength training shoe. Increase your vertical jump 5-10 inches. google "athletic training innovations"
