Tibet will never get away from China simply because no one gives a s**t about Tibet. Not one country in the world would really stand up for Tibet.
Some politicians just call in Dalai Lama now and then, to appear in the media together, when they need some anti-Chinese marketing. It ends there - not one country would stand up for Tibet ever, simply because it doesn't pay off.
and also TIbet was invaded in 1959 so its not like its a attempt from the west to destroy china or anything... kinda funny how you think your questions are reasonable thoughts just look em up and you'll easily find an answer to any of your questions if you dont just comment on my page and ill be glad to explain anything about tibet

If they weren't so defiant and accept mainland china's help then it would be treated equally like all the other provinces of china. China is made up of 23 provinces and you don't see them demanding independence! Back in the Warring States Era of China's early history the nation was divided up by this until the Qin united the people.
If tibet were every to gain its independence then it would become a country of economic shambles... not to sound harsh but it would be equal in economy as a 3rd world African nation. Its a barren nation of pleasant farmers and such. Their main revenue is from tourism from mainland china. It's basically screwed both way no matter how you f**ck it.
