for me a C is fail, B is just about acceptable A is acceptable, A* is good.

I expect to get 4A*s, 3As and 1B.

@Doctorwhorage Everything from A*-C is a pass, and is regarded as good...I think I take offence to your comment however fair enough always aim for the highest.

@ComedyActress 35 years ago to get a C was as hard or even harder than getting A/A* nowadays - to get anything below an A just isn't worth anything.

I'm doing my GCSE's soon.. they start in 3 days. I hope to get 1 A*, 5 A's, 3 B's & 1 C; if the worst comes to the worst I will get 2 A's, 4 B's & 4 C's.. either way I'll be happy - ALL PASSES :D!

A's in German, business and History

B's in Biology, chemistry, physics, maths, english language, PE, 4 for ICT and Technology

C's in Geography and english Literature!

Maybe if i did less i would have higher grades more A's

People generally tell you not to, but some people do up to 16. Generally people only do it if they're multilingual though (i.e. they're already fluent in several languages so those are easy GCSEs for them to do early. Like one of my brother's friends got 16 A*s.)

thats what I'm doing in college :) well it's more or less equivalent to 3 A levels it definitely doesn't result in more UCAS points I think

Congrats on the results! I got 2 A*, 5 A's, a B and a C which i'm very happy with.
