That's kind of what I'm saying - you're the one that's making a big deal about his skin color and making sure to use the exact, specific term for it. Why does it matter what we call it? How about instead of referring to him as "the black president" or "the MULATTO president," we just call him "the president?" :)

As a mixed race 1/2 African 1/2 English, my experience is that Africans have always adopted me fully as a brother and white people have regarded me as black. I'm sure Barak's experiene is similar. People all over the world Asian Africa see him as their's however white people are also allowed to do but will they? Barak does not reject his white heritage and black people don't deny it either, it's up to white people to identify with him. Remember, African Americans initially supported Hillary!!
