Anyone trying to cover for this guy's hit is an idiot - he comes in arms down, head looking at the turf so he can spear him with the crown of his helmet. It was a dirty hit, maybe he didn't intentionally hit McKnight in the head, but he sure as shit wasn't avoiding it. If it had been an NFL game there would have been a fine to go along with it, regardless of whether they missed the call on the field.

Typical CU fans crying about a non-call. That type of hit is called about 50% of the time...looking at in slow motion has him coming in with his shoulder and getting some head and shoulder pad at the same time. Regardless...the Rams won because they were more physical and that hit was one of many that day. CU can go on acting like CSU is the little sister of the state...and the Rams will lay the wood on...The Rams MAN HANDLED the Buffs all game. can't wait till Sept 4.
