@freenergy89 well, it depends on if you are Sephardic or Ashkinazi. I know it as aleichem and i learned that there isn't a "j" sound. if there is a J in an english word it tends to be a yud, like Jerusalem. I am not fluent, i am only just learning and i don't speek conversational, so i may be wrong, but i do plan on learning conversational.

Jews who immigrated to Northern Europe are Jews just like everyone else. We all have the same ancestry. Secondly, most Israeli's today are either mixed Sephardi/Ashkenazi, or of just Sephardi heritage.
