sure, I used a Panasonic LUMIX DMC-ZS1 point and shoot camera with a built-in SD video feature. It was still shaky because it was hand-held and was getting bumped around by people next to me.

$250 at Costco, list is $300. For another $100 bucks, one can get the ZS3 which has HD video feature which I would prefer but was not available then.

I am very happy with the cam, and my 5 year old can also use it with not much instruction.
