  • Pointless, long winded, self aggrandizing introduction ends @2:15

  • @pretorious700

WHy I haven't looked at your comment prior to 2:10.

  • Stick to economics Mr. Casey and keep your views of religion as primitive are ridiculous. Even the founders knew having a God meant that our rights are given to us by God. If that were not true our rights and morals would have to be given to us by government just as in the days of Kings. If the King said "Off with your head" they did it and people really didn't ask questions about it.

  • @ronbee2001 One may be an atheist and believe that your rights come from your humanity, you have rights because of the belief that you own yourself. No God is necessary.

  • @ronbee2001 lololololololololol

  • @Esoparagon Glad you're enjoying the show my friend

  • @ronbee2001 Don't tell anyone what to think or say you religious bigot.

  • @TWSceptic typical atheist emotional response with no logic involved. Since you don't believe in God you have become your own God. Until you understand self denial is one of the cornerstones of Happiness you will continue to be empty inside. If you want to be atheist that's your problem not mine. Take care.

  • @ronbee2001 I think our founders used the term "God" to put things in a simple perspective during the enlightenment era to help the general populace understand the idea of individualism. Most our founders were "deists" and denounced all forms of man made religion. Especially Jefferson.....

  • @hunden8404 Hey smart guy why don't you look up what a "deist" is and maybe you'll see it does not equal atheist and in fact they do believe in God. I've always believed man has a natural appeal to worship, and if he does not worship God he will find something else to worship like Him self, his job, xbox, Athletics, his wife, ect. Just look at North Korea a country built on atheism following the loss of their fierce leader. The population could not stop crying bc he was their GOD.

  • @ronbee2001 I know what a deist is. And technically a deist is an atheist being that those who believe in a deity do not believe in the God of theism... And I agree with you in that humans have a natural appeal to worship, and when finding balance they can tend to idolize things that are counterproductive for well-being, but humans' inherent search for a supreme leader limits our ability. If their is a God he/she plays no role in our world other than its creation. Just my thoughts God Bless...

  • Can anyone summarize the significant points of his speech please? It's just a tad slow.. lol

  • @infowarrior76

he didn't really talk much about the topic he was given, end of western civilization. He talked mostly about his experiences in the past 20-30 years of trying to establish a libertarian/anarchist country.

  • We do not have proper capitalism, we have uncompetitive crony capitalism.

  • Here's the reasons Doug gives to a South African brigadier to convince him to rid his country of the government...

    1) The people will love you. You will be adored.

    2) It will put you on the front cover of every news magazine in the world, in a good, heroic light for the next decade.

    3) It will make you legitimately very wealthy.

    Great stories =)

  • fantastic thinker Doug Casey. It is kind of bored in life for human race. Let's have some fun.
