The app is $9.99, not $20. The one with the most planes and maps is X-Plane airliner. But if you like military planes, get X-Plane extreme. :)

the space shuttle I'am used to landing on the Pc version of x-plane but the airliners are challenging especially the a-380 and the MD-88

I actually meant to delete the comment because after I posted it I found all the other version on the itunes store, I now have airliner, apollo and spaceshuttle (which is awesome) I ended up walking around Marks & Spencer with my mum while landing an A-380 :)

Of course, that's the fun of flying. ;) you can also enter NAV radio frequencies so you can have a more precise landing using the ILS (instrument landing slope).

Every app works on both ipod and iphone, except the ones who require a mic or a camera ;)

It should work with the touch as well, Older ipods could record audio, so I think the ipod touch can.

You can also go to many stores and buy a $10-$15 dongle that goes between the headphone port and your headphones. It works great...
