Every illegal here is taking from legal citizens and legal children. I'm in California and the public school system sucks because we are being overrun by illegals. However, employers paying slave wages to anyone being legal or illegal should be shot for human rights violations.
I would pay more for a box of tomatoes if it meant that an American would receive a livable wage for doing the job. But that won't happen because we have illegal workers who work for crumbs, ensuring that the wages stay depressed.
They have to leave their country and find a way to send money back to their families. Also, America has the obligation to accept them, give them free healthcare, educate their kids, give them food stamps, tolerate identity thefts, tolerate crimes their gangs cause, keep mouth shut because somebody will start screaming about racism and the list goes on. Mexico with God given opportunities for tourism, with minerals, agriculture has no responsibility to provide jobs for its citizens.

Then we have Gov representatives spew ign'ance though they've never set foot in any of the affected areas. They just watch Fox and make a judgement call based on a reporter that never leave their desks to find what facts may out there.
Republicans and Democrats take advantage them. The worst injustice is that the US mainstream media neglects to investigate minorities who exploit them. Minorities also discriminate along with financial reasons as their justification. Just causally ask and you maybe in a surprise of a lifetime. One place to start is Rio Linda California which is located near Sacramento that is the State capital of California. White people are bigots and racist along with minorities who have Caucasian looks.

@Pitttdog the farm workers pay taxes with their fake docs. or with an ITIN tax payer number. The girl didn't make a conscious choice to be here illegally. Had she been a teenager or adult, that's a different story. The workers on the field either get paid cash $5 per hour & work 12 hr days or minimum wage. I doubt any Americans would do that job without some sort of reform. The already expensive price of produce would at least double! Let's not confuse exploitation with justice. smh!

Otherwise they should have a way for people like her to become lawful citizens before becoming adults. In that case, It should be mandated that welfare recipients enroll in those jobs.

I watched this documentary tonight. One thing struck me about the trip to visit the family in Mexico: All those kids, and each time the dad came home, he knocked up the mom yet again. So more and more mouths to feed. All that money coming home, but no money spent on birth control. Get families to limit their families to 1-2 kids, and you'll eliminate poverty and illegal immigration. IMHO, most couples would take a bribe to get vasectomies or tubal ligation - maybe $3000 each.

These poor people are citizens of Mexico and we have neither a legal nor moral responsibility to look after them and subsidize their illegal stay in this country. It is time to stop taking advantage of these poor people here, to the detriment of US citizens, and for the wealthy in Mexico to be more inclusive of their own citizenry. Also, get out of NAFTA.
