  • Step 4. make buddy split cost of repairs. lol Nice landing despite of the end result.

  • as soon as i saw the approach angle i new that the crash would be based on this simple mistake. U always want to see the bottom/ slightly nose high when doing autos. this creats the proper disk angle and forces u to use more collective for energy management instead of the elevator.

you auto is called the tuck of death. this will always get u if the nose is low.

  • Ran out of headspeed a bit huh?Looked like a pretty soft crash compared to many i've seen..Just lost my 450 to a blade strike today : (.

  • haha that was funny

  • Skills!! lol.

  • Yeah yeah yeah....... always blame the others..... lol

  • Remember children, always idle-up before attempting inverted flight :-)

Sorry to see the heli crash

  • how much of it broke?

  • @remotecontrolaholic

Just the tail boom, one of the skids and plastic frame halves, the main shaft, flybar, and spindle. The blades were fine as they were rotating very slow when the heli hit.

  • 1:32 BOOM SHAKALACKA

  • hahahahahaha

  • what a dumbfuck.

  • ive noticed that when it comes to rc heli mishaps on youtube ...the most seen word in the comments is..."dumbfuck"

  • Experience is a hard teacher. First your given the test and then the lesson.

  • YOU are the cause of the crash dude, not your buddy. Haha.

  • haha just what i thought, "its my friends fault i suck" lol

  • no no no!!

    blade stop

  • Good pilot so a shame really

  • didnt look like it hurt it at all. great attemp man for first try. just remember dont let the nose drop in a auto and you will keep hs.

  • I thought inverted autos could only be done on smooth ground not grass. The heli was doomed right from the start.

  • Inverted autos can be landed on grass, but you need to slow down the forward speed after flipping to upright to prevent the skids from digging in and flipping the heli over.

  • still a great pilot

  • lol invert it!

  • "invert it"

  • How much does one of thease cost?

  • 1500+ dollars

  • wtf its about a 100$ no one would buy a 1500 rc helicopter

  • Clearly you are clueless about R/C...

  • its 100$ - 300$

  • uhhhh no. google

    ThunderTiger Raptor 90 STD Kit

    O.S. .91 sx-h c-spec ringed with pump

Futaba GY401 Gyro w/S9254 Servo & SMM Technology

Futaba S9252 Servo Digital All Purpose

NHP CF Blades: Razor Pro Symetrical 710mm: Vibe 90

JR 9303 9-Channel Helicopter Radio System

    now add that up.

    2014.99

  • k yo what does 6 channel mean i dont get it

  • *faceplant*

  • whats that!!??

  • This was closer to $1000, it was a 50 sized heli, not a 90.

  • oh. well it's still more than 100 dollars

  • LMAO

  • not a bad crash

  • 1. very well done, with weather conditions.

    2. big balls to try it again.

    3. your luck will run-out.especially as mr bad luck is filming you. lol.lol.

great video, good fun. nice one mate.

  • Thanks for the complement on my flying but I have to take full credit for trying the maneuver. I went out that day planning on trying it for the first time, even though I should have waited for better weather conditions. My buddy who did the filming is also an RC heli pilot (a good one) and we like to egg each other on. But hey, if the crash was going to happen anyway the most important thing is to get video! I still watch it and laugh too.

  • @flyfalcons those were nice autos it was was unfortunate bout the crash but keep up the good flying.

  • u r a sick pilot too bad ur friend had to influence u to crash. nice landings:)

stay above the influence while flying. non-pilots know nothing

  • you could have saved it by bailing out with an early decision...anyway good flying.

  • The moral is to never listne to the non-pilot friend.

  • Great vid, made me laugh. It's so hard not to do something someone tells you to do!

  • wow apart from that i mean that landing and flying you are a great pilot...hope your heli was ok

  • It's always easy to crash something, but flying and landing it well is art!

  • your still a very good pilot mate,

show me an RC heli flyer who says he hasnt crashed and ill show you a bare faced liar !

    good luck.

  • Not that bad of a crash... at least you didn't hit the ground with the rotors turning... that would have been brutal

  • very good!

  • try crashin it into a pool

  • bouncy...

  • My friend actually made the video. The crash was simply due to me trying something in conditions that were beyond my ability. It's all in good fun!

  • you're a good pilot...just did something stupid..happens to us all eh!

Your bud just had an idea..don't blame it on him!

  • That crash didn't look taht bad.

  • haha "video/ cause of crash" hahaha

  • Jesus some wind! Mind you I would glad to have a little crash like that!

  • Great video, gotta get a mute button for that buddy cam though...

  • The result of that might be a bent tail boom.

  • at least it wasn't spooled-up too much.

  • that wasnt a big crash.look carefully and nothing flew of it

  • Shit that sux, i remember my nexus 30, lol -rip-

  • great flyer mate but hey downt blame your mate your the one that went inverted your were the one holding the radio so your to blame

  • Where's the fire???

  • did look like it was to bad

  • Cha-ching$

  • lol i wish it was a big KABOOOM!!

  • ...oO

  • why do they always laugh when they crash when deep down inside theyre pissed

  • haha that was fuckin kool i want one

  • This is great as I learn a lot from your video.

  • That crash didnt look to bad you may need new skids and rotors and thats about it but other than that great vid and flyer

  • LOL

  • fags

  • Nice skills, you were pushing it in those conditions, but showed you can fly well.

  • at least you laughed about it

  • Nice try on the invert. auto

  • Bye Bye Birdie!

  • Seems like the negative pitch did not provide enough lift

  • haha too much negative pitch

  • Thats what happens when you bleed off all of your headspeed.

  • Typical story of a good pilot, with good equipment, flying slightly outside of the envelope. What fun would it be if you didn't try? Thanks for the video.

  • Yep that's basically the story behind this video. Good helicopter, I just dorked it. Had it fixed quickly and was out successfully practicing inverted autos a few weeks later.

  • Hi all, I filmed this video (yep thats me shouting "Inverted") Nothing fell off the heli, the head speed just got too low. You can hear the wind, he lost all the headspeed fighting the headwind to bring the heli closer. You can see him dip the nose once he rolls upright to try to get the headspeed back up but it was too late! Sorry Ryan ;)

  • Nice video!

    Good auto's as well.

  • weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee BANG

  • No he's not right, but you can see a bird fly past right after the invert. The cause of the crash is the pilot letting the rotor speed get too low. Very easy to do, especially when you have to roll upright towards the end, which uses a lot of the energy stored in the spinning blades. Kepp practicing, you'll get it.

  • riceo, your fuckin' right dude! I saw somote too!

  • Cause of crash:you

  • It hurts to just watch it. I hope the repairs didn't cost you much. Looks like you forgot to set the transmitter to stunt mode when flying inverted?

  • ouch! didn't look like it was your fault though, pretty sure I saw something break off when you inverted it!
