Face it....most superheroes have crappy villans. The top of the line Green Lantern villains were Sinestro, Star Sapphire (both of which fall under THE EVIL OPPOSITE OF THE HERO like in a lot of the recent movies...Hulk/Abomination, Iron Man/Bigger Iron Man, Spider Man/Venom or Scorpion etc), The Shark, The Tattoed Man (which I think might could work now with CGI), or a random space monster. Parallax still looks like a NEW Galactus rip off though on a smaller scale.

When I heard that the first trailer sucked because the CGI was in the raw phase, while not knowing what to expect, I decided to give the movie another chance. Granted, I still think they were idiots for relasing the trailer with raw CGI footage, but still. Seeing this really did justice. I hope everyone can realize how much work it is to do 3 seconds of CGI, let alone 3 mins of a trailer, and then 2 hours of a movie. So, I can't wait until June :)

A lot more impressed now- For once, I am seriously anticipating all 4 comic book movies coming out this summer- it seems a lot of thought has been put into the tone, script and characterization in each one, with a great directior behind it- Martin Campbell, Kenneth Branagh, Matthew Vaughn and Joe Johnston (er, maybe not the last one so much...) Each movie looks to be of a good quality, and better than many of the superhero movies we've seen in a while.

I'm on the fence with this, the trailer looks awesome and really shows off the work thats been done in post-production thus far but I'm worried about including Parallax in the movie as what seems to be the primary villain. I'm a reader of the series and while I'm in no way a fan-boy crying at every little detail that won't be translated line for line, I just hope (as both a movie goer and comic reader) that they find a way to balance the movie so that both types can enjoy it.
