People can interpret this song in many ways, it doesn't necessarily mean it is about Christianity. Personally i think it is about hope, no matter how bad our lives, the birth of a child brings happiness and hope for better things, gives an inner strength to overcome adversity, hate, hunger etc. EVERYBODY can relate to this song. :-)

@DannyMillerLover94 there are many people walking around with overgrown beards and bushy hair who need to cut their hair... but we dont say well y doesnt the barber go cut their hair, if he'a a barber y would he just see that their hair needs to cut and just leave them...if people are suffering they need to go to God; He cannot help you if you dont seek him and ask him for help. You have to open the door of your heart and let Him in. :)
