  • Perfect

  • Cool guitar :)

  • I don`t mean the chords enc,i mean the music/song track without guitar and vocals

    :) thanks

  • Do you know how i can get the drum and the bass track like you have?

  • Down strums or Up and Down strums?

  • @Commiteee All down.

  • @Stof31 Ah, thanks. :)

Assuming you're a big fan of the Cure (Judging by you gear) does he do all down strums a lot? When I watch live performances he moves his hand so fast I can't really tell.

  • @Commiteee For songs with a driving rhythm (Play for Today, a Forest) it's usually all down strums. Up/down strumming for slower stuff like 3 imaginary boys. But really, try both and see what's working. :)

  • @Stof31 One more question, Is it just me or does he only do the down only in there early stuff? I don't notice it on anything after 17 seconds.

  • AMAZING!! I actually particularly fell in love with the bass in this song (and not to mention others like a forest). I definitely want to cover some cure songs with people, only I'd like to try out using an electric upright bass ;)

  • nice guitar

  • any chance you could send me the backing track?

  • hey, do you happen to have the tabs for this. I would love to play this song! thanks

  • Totally awesome! Not only does it sound like the original, I love the slight variation you play. Great job!

  • Good Job, man! Didn´t Robert Smith play a white JM in the early Cure-days?

  • @Reulor Yes it originally was white, but Smith kept changing it : he removed the paint to a natural wood color, then painted it black, then painted some psychedelic fish-like shapes over the black. No idea what it looks like now, but I don't think he ever uses Jazzmasters anymore.

  • why would someone dislike this? idiots.

    great job man

  • Super !

  • Well done, nice sound.

  • Excellent

  • GREATEST sound, very accurate: congrats dude!

  • awesome

  • Awesome:)

  • Can you give me your Tonelab patch settings please. Nice sound !!! thx

  • How can anyone give this less that a perfect 5-star? Great job! I want to be your singer!

  • Great guitar obviously (and you say that you also own a Fender VI) but you do get a very nice sound out of it. As to the playing it is not 100% accurate (especially on the Amin in the verse) but whether intentional or not, it works anyway.

  • @samueljaros

lets see u do better smart arse !!!

  • nice guitar :)

    like a rob smith ^.^

  • what chorus (pedal?) are you using?

  • That's one of the chorus modes of my Tonelab LE preamp. I think the one I used was "Multi-tap chorus".

  • Wow! Very warm sounding. Thought it was an analog.

  • dammmmmm good man!

  • great

  • nice job boy!!!

  • ...oh and the ending was spot on.

  • Very enjoyable...but HarmonicsExplorer is right...strip it down so that we can here you- not the overly 'just like heaven' sounding lead fill...let's here more...

  • The other guitar track is way over-voluming your peformance here. That's not what we want to witness. Strip it down.

  • Very nice sound. Great amp

  • superb !

    the sound !

    all !

    brilliant !

best The cure cover on you tube !

  • Well done. I see you are using same guitar that Robert used during the '17 Seconds' album. You have a different style of playing from what I have seen. Your guitar work sounds a bit different though close in spirit to the original.

  • Very close to the original, well done mate.

  • fantastic job. Very nice
