Noi doubt its a combination of both. However...Im sure the parody is not done in bad taste. Ive seen Kerry King and Scott Ian on many a metal docu on TV talking and laughing together. Not many peeps from the old school hate on Slayer from what Ive seen.

I remember these guys got a ton of flak in Britain. Seems they were well received here in the States.

I guess they beat us hands down in ironic humour at that time. The hardcore/punk scene got way up its own arse for a while!
