I would hold judgement concerning the boar's hair brush. If used properly, as shown, kind of wafted along the finish, as opposed to really scrubbing with it, I don't see a reason it would scratch. Plus, the weight of the bristles doing the work for you largely eliminates the risk of pressure mashing any free particles into the finish.

I personally do not like the mitt, bone or the brush, but i do really like the sea sponge. they work very well.
