This has been around for centuries, it is called a rope swing. its why kids used to get ripped around the beginning of puberty. That and fat pansies weren't taking PT out of school.
This is classic Fraser Quelch...well explained, safe, clean. Thank you TRX for providing instructors unparalleled support as we strive to be creative and challenging for our clientele.
why humans? because when I left the room completely pale, the instructor didn't approach me or asked me how I was feeling. From now, I will never go to a TRX class any more unless there is a different instructor and I am in a better shape.
I'd like to say that I practiced this type of workout in my gym three days ago, and I couldn't finish the class, I had to leave the room cause I started to feel terrybly sick and my ears were snap. The instructor didn't give us any rest between exercises or cycles and it was exhausting! I think TRX instructors should be better trained and be more humans... why humans?
Best product hands down. I HATE working out. Using the TRX I now LOVE working out. Its fun. The first day I used it I was sore within an hour. A week later I was so much stronger and felt a BIG difference.
If your debating on getting a TRX, dont! Everyone should have the TRX.
@Jigbog I dont? I am a certifed yoga teacher with 1200 hours of training. I am a certified personal trainer as well. I have spent the last 5 years working with the Yoga swing. As well as studying the mechanics, contraindications and consequences of poor alignment , So tell me, What did I have wrong? \ As I saw this video, I saw a guy yelling at students to motivate them but saying little to instruct them for proper alignment. So Jig butt or whatever your name is. What did I get wrong?
Nice toy. Poor instruction,,,but at least he was full of catchy names for physiology....Truth tremors... Absolutely no mention of destroying the shoulder cuff or hyperflexion...but hey,,,if it sells your toy or better yet, your private lessons for weekend warriors,,,neat!...this trainer is not minding anything but the clock...$90.00 please.
@gjeacocke Got it. Exercise instruction is alot more than bringing in accomplished athletes to demonstrate the simplest of exercises... Frasier needs actual fitness students to demonstrate with. Stop the clock watching crap and use the HR monitor to establish the rest, not the clock. Geesh. $ 90.00 please?
The Y here just began offering TRX classes. I decided to get one for myself to use at home. I was skeptical at first, but after seeing the Y offer this as a CLASS (which are always full) and for myself, thinking a little outside the box, I'm excited to get going with this.
@Duluth07 best workout ever anywhere anytime, I am now instructing classes on military bases of 75-100 service members they love it committed to your success
@TruthAxe Infamous as in... its known to be a tough workout. The best workouts trending now are ones that claim to kick your butt....see P90X, Insanity, TRX...So infamous works just fine.
@sdpadresfan Men can attest the word 'infamous' to the late 14th century, taken from Middle Latin 'infamosus', The meaning was inflated by Latin infamis "of ill fame.
Thus, the one, true meaning of the word infamous is having an exceedingly bad reputation because of ill fame, doing something notorious.
Thus, infamous doesn't work at all, except for those too moronic to get English.
@TruthAxe Take it easy man. No need to be rude. I'm pretty sure many of the words used back in the 14th century have a different meaning today.
But this isn't the case. "Of ill fame" "exceedingly bad rep."...thats exactly what the video attempts to boast. I am making the argument that the workout "kicks your ass" so it is indeed infamous. Although you could call it famous, infamous works just as fine..if not even better. Have a nice life.
@sdpadresfan It's not a question of taking it easy. I've presented truth to you in an easy manner that most kids between the ages of 7 and 16 can grasp.
Saying infamous for tough is akin to the mistake dummies make when they say 'outrageous' to mean cool, when the word means showing excessive violent behavior.
All too often, urbanite ghettoites who live by ghettoism misuse words because they grow up speaking ghetto English -- the English spoken by the mediocre IQ -- instead of English.
@crazyolme So, you describe a FAMOUSLY challenging workout, that is, if many, everywhere, know of this workout it.
Again, infamous is an adjective meaning "ill-famed, notorious," as in the infamous Saddam Hussein.
The gaff of using infamous is the same as when the ill-minded say "ridiculously" as in "ridiculously fast." You find ignorant people from ghettos misspeaking in this way.
English has many positive adjectives. No good cause exists to use a negative one as a positive one.
You amuse, @dnj86. Apparently, you were raised on ghetto-ese. Again, since you're a short bus rider, the adjective 'infamous' connotes exceedingly bad(as in reputation); disreputable; notorious.
Those who misuse the word as in "infamous workout" make the same mistake as those who say "ridiculously fast" when they are trying to mean exceedingly fast.

Zipemova1 1 year ago
@daisyhunter123 not exactly I have a pair of suspension straps I bought on clearance for $15
it is no where near the price but is also not as good no foot cradles harder to change the length etc
no workout book or DVD
one tip for people buying or making their own straps put length marks on it like a tape measure it makes keeping them even faster and easier
