As an Iranian, I love Googoosh and I'm proud that she is an Iranian singer.
The funny thing is many Afghanis leave hate comments about Iran and Iranian people, but at the same time they listen to Iraian songs, watch Iraian shows, and their educated people try to immitate Iranian Farsi accent.
I used to like Afghans, but I've come across so many rude Afghans and their nasty comments about my country that I'm changing my mind about them.

If you see some afgan listening to some iranian singer you better know that if the singer insult afghan ppl they stop listening to him. u see what I mean. yes, I know you are right. I'm new on YouTube and I got very angry when I came across some of those hate comments about Iran. But now I'm fine and I understand that it is the way many people express themselves on this website. And as you wrote, good and bad people are everywhere. Actually, I do love Afghans. They are our brother nation, and no, those comments didn't make me change my mind about them. I was just angry but now I understand what is going on. :) Wish everyone peace and prosperity.

What most people don't realise is that Iranians take great pride in Googoosh because she is a symbol of our culture before the Revolution. She brings tears to everyone's eyes everywhere she goes because she carries a history and story with her.
She has said time in and time out that she is Iranian. I know it shouldn't matter what her background is but in this case it carries great meaning.

The Revolution wasn't suppose to be a religious revolution. Do your research. Do you know how many Iranian scholars, poets, musicians, thinkers and ordinary citizens were killed by the Islamic Regime. Anyone opposing them was hung or tortured in prison.
