I live in Austin so I am able to see Monte quite a bit, and without fail every time i leave dragging my mouth on the floor... in my opinion he is the most interesting musician walking the planet. My hats off to Monte....Thank you Monte for the great music and fantastic guitar work.

Thanks Gary! Now I know why my "funky" version fills are all choppy. What you said starting at 6:15 - 6:30 reminded me of something. Someone asked Monte what those chords were on one of his live chats from Europe last year. Pretty sure he said he usually goes from Fmaj6th to Fmaj7th with both of those grips starting at the 5th fret. I'm still not good at making that transition. Monte is a master of chords! I'm diggin' the lessons!
