Christian, Matt Hardy, Jack Swagger, John Morrison, Mark Henry, CM Punk, all made that title mean something and all showed they could hold their own as Champion--even though this was as far as a lot of ECW Champions got.

@lionkiller7 Well, it's hard to make something great when only you and a few people want it to be and an entire company doesn't want it to be. WWE Would often go out of it's way to make ECW a joke, but even so, like you said, the guys who held that belt were great wrestlers and champions, and in my opinion, when they held the title it really meant something. CM Punk and JoMo tore the house down feuding over that belt. It was a feel good moment for Matt Hardy and Tommy Dreamer. Stuff like that.
