I used to have flow masters, but I switched to loudmouth II's. Wouldn't go back. Flowmasters didn't get loud enough under throttle!

when you cut the cats off do you have to install a sensor? Or, can you just cut them off and put a pipe in? How did you do yours? Got a 1998 GT 4.6. Want to put flowmaster muffler on it and want a good sound. really like yours.

@salexander2035 , when you have your cats cut off at the muffler shop to install straight pipes, just have the shop make a hole to insert your sensor into the piping.

@muscleheadist To have all 6 cats removed on a 96-98 GT is going to be very costly because the shop will need to bend and fit all that new piping. Just buy an off-road pipe. They are very inexpensive.

my 98 gt when i rev it up it seems to take a little long for the rpm's to come back down. any ideas?

I did had the same problem when i had new block put in, but im not really sure what it was, it either was vacum leak or something in the computer, i had my car dropped of at the speed shop not sure what they did, sorry couldnt help.

@kawrcr09 so there is no solution to that rpm slwly coming down?? i thought if id get a tps form like an 02-04 gt that would solve it but idk ill get one from a junk yard and see what happens...nice ride btw...
