i read this book....its very good, the last part is sad as dumbledore dies. but harry was so keen to find what snape and malfoy were upto, although nobody other than dumbledore supported him. he is intelligent and advetureous too! he is underage but still so..... he cant be expressed in words...HE IS WOW!!!!!!!!

It movie wasn't so bad..it was hilarious and yeah it did sort of explore the characters teenage lives when they 'come of age' or something like that and it was nice but mannn did they cut out alot...i wanted to see the funeral...but instead it was fawks flying away but then that was pretty sad too..haha. Loved the movie though but Deathly Hallows better be great and they should put alot more effort in it...:)

The ONLY reason I'm being this harsh is even though this film was beuatifully filmed, and scored, and edited, which it was, the fact remains that substituting the final 40 minutes of the Book with Helena Bonham Carter parading down the Great Hall Tables and blowing out the windows is an insult to the Series by far!

I love how everyone bashes David Yates for leaving out parts of the book. Its the scriptwriter that does this people, not the director. Learn the Industry!

In the case of Harry Potter, it's both. According to interviews, Kloves writes a long script and then the director tells him what he wants changed and cut. In the original script for HBP, Kloves said he has almost every memory scripted before Yates told him to focus on the three memory scenes that made it in.

the trailers all seem very fast paced and exciting, but the movie really isnt.

it has its moments, but there is a lot of unused time. they could and they should have gone much further with the memories and the story.

but once again, yates picks out a couple of big events he puts in work, and the rest...well. also, besides slughorn, the acting really went downhill, radcliffe is awful

the first three movies were really good, and theyre proof that the movies can be more like the books.

Yes I do agree with you on that. I even thought the fifth movie was better. No offence, but the storyline was too rushed in my opinion. It focused to much on the lovestories and the actionscenes!

The kiss was a real disappointment and dumbledore's death wasn't that sad alltogether. Also, if you'd just look at Slughorn's mouth, there ought to be a big walrus moustache over there! big disappointment.
